Chapter 20: A Melody's Simple Trick

The Sun has set to rest her eyes and the Moon rises to watch over the residents of Paradise. In the mountain caverns, Barracuda watch the lights from the homes of the residents go dark. Every candle, fire, and lamp going dark as the black night sky. Paradise was fall asleep.

"Now we begin our plan." He said with a evil look.

"Yeah! Let's go find Luna and-"

"No, you imbecile! Luna's home is impossible to track on foot or by air! It'll take forever to find it!" Barracuda hissed at Lycanthropy with rage.

"Then how are we gonna find her?" Lycanthropy asked. Barracuda gave him a look of assurance. He summoned one of his snake shapes. He lend it a blue mushroom and it pierced its head into and changed its pink color to a blue.

"Go. Lure the moth here." It nodded and headed down to Paradise.

"What was that?" Lycanthropy said

"We can't go looking for her, she'll be looking for us."

Luna slept in her bed in her cottage. Blixer slept behind the waterfall as the cave behind it made him feel nostalgic and he found it comfy. The night shined on. The water splashing, the crickets chirping, and the wind blowing gently. The sounds made any shape fall into a deep sleep. The noise filled Luna's ears, making her feel relaxed and comfortable. The sound continued on and on...

Until she heard the sound of chimes. Playing in the distance. She woke from her slumber and looked out the window, the sound was like a music box. The music continued to play, it was so soothing and the sound made her feel hypnotized. She couldn't help but follow the sound of the music.

She made her way out of her bed, slowly following the sound outside. She stepped out of her cottage, flying up to the sky to follow the music. The sound was only heard by her, it seems like it was meant for her and only her. No other shape has awoken from there slumber to hear this melody. She continued to follow the sound of chimes to the lake that connected Paradise and the mountains. She flew down, just above the water. The music stopped for a couple seconds.

She heard the sound again. She looked down at the water to see a glow of blue for each chime. The music played as a snake like shape slowly made its way out of the water. It slither around Luna, the scales on it blinked with blue as the music played its notes. She was mesmerized by its music and scales as it slither around the lake. She noticed blue orbs come out of the lake, floating around like bubbles. They float all over her, glowing brightly as they drifted away in the night sky. The snake slither over to Luna and nodded its head. It's telling her to follow. She was entranced by the music, she followed the serpent across the water. The serpent lured her across the lake and to the mountains. It entered into a cavern, Luna followed it for sure, the serpent made its way down the cave, the music still playing gently, the color of blue faded slowly into darkness, Luna's version went black as the blue glow faded away but the sound of the music remained. She followed the sound. She followed and listened until...

It went silent...

She's in darkness. Cold. Alone. She snapped out of her trance and looked away, but it was hopeless. "W-what? Where am I?" She asked herself. She was confused. What was she doing in a cave? She heard a pebble fell and she turned to the sound quickly. She was breathing rather quickly. Scared of what was happening. The cave was soon lit up with a pink glow. The pink glow came from a figure in front of her. She was overwhelmed by joy and flew at the figure. She hugged them.

"Blixer! I'm so glad you're he-"

She looked up and her sentence was stopped suddenly. She shivered as the shape looked at her. "Y-you're not B-Blixer..." her voice stuttered in fear. The shape was a triangle. A pyramid like figure. Pink. One eye. An eye that looked down at her with a cold expression. She backed away from him, he only went closer to her. His tentacles coming out slowly as the sound of hissing and rattling was heard by them. Luna was terrified by this shape. His appearance and movement made her feel uncomfortable. The color as well, pink, the color of a corrupted. She continued to back away from him until she bumped into another figure. She looked up at them. No. It can't be...

"Hello, Luna! Missed me!" Lycanthropy said in a cheery tone. She backed away from him only to bump into the triangle shape. She felt something wrap around her body and squeezed her. It was the triangle's tentacle. Her mouth covered and wings held down. She struggled against the grip of his tentacle but it was no use.

"What a nice moth we caught. Prepare the cage we prepared just for her." Said the triangle to Lycanthropy.

"Yes, Barracuda" he replied and goes to get the cage.

Barracuda. The shape Blixer was talking about earlier. The shape that wants to hurt him.

Lycanthropy came back with a cage. Pink as usual. He places it down and opened the latch to it. Barracuda throws her in and closes and locks it. Luna rams into it, only for it to sting badly, like a burn.

"This cage was built to make sure you don't escape so easily. You can try to squeeze out but the metal bars are at a burning point where you can't even bother touching it. It won't effect any corrupted shape, only your pathetic pure shapes." He explained.

"You're Barracuda, right?"

"Oh? Looks like you already know me."

He said as Luna questioned him.

"Yes I do. Blixer told me."

"That pathetic overgrown caterpillar! He thinks he's all powerful, but not for long!"

"What do you mean? You need the Treeangle for that to happen, so why trap me?"

Luna asked Barracuda. He looked at her with a evil look.

"Because you have the same amount of power as that tree and I'm going to extract it from you."

She was shocked.

"No, you won't! Blixer will notice I'm gone and come!"

"That is why I trapped you here. He'll come once I extract the power from you, and don't assume it's gonna be a painless operation."

Her face went pale at the last words he spoke.
