chapter 7

I wake up to a heavy arm around my waist. I turn around and see Jaden lazily laying his arm around my waist. I didn't see this happening, ever. I turn around so he realises I'm awake. I face him and he looks in my direction and removes his hand from my waist.

"oh I'm sorry, um I don't know what I was thinking I-" he tries to explain himself.

"hey its ok." I assure him with a smile. He just wrapped his arm around me, that doesn't mean he likes me right? if he does, do I like him back. I mean we've barely talked and I've known him for not even a full day. But he's so cute. I don't know how I feel. Ugh. this is why I don't talk to boys its so much drama. Ugh stop over thinking it Jess.

"um I should go" I say getting up from his bed, removing the blanket which was on me.

"Ok" he says turning his attention to his phone. I take a few steps towards the door. When i'm almost there I turn around.

"Jaden?" I call out to him.

"Yeah?" I gain his attention.

"Thanks..for yesterday." I should thank him. I puked in his washroom after all.

"No problem cutie" he winks at me.

"Stop doing that" I blush.

"Doing what?" he's acting all innocent.

"ugh nothing" I smile and walk out of his room. Asshole.

I was walking around finding Avani but instead I bump into Josh and Nessa cleaning up the house, smiling.

"Hi Josh, have you seen Avani?" I ask him, gaining his and Nessa's attention.

"Hey Jess, how was it sleeping in my bed yesterday"he teases me.

"Oh gosh I'm sorry I didn't know that you-" I panic.

"I'm kidding, its nice. Me and Nessa got the whole room to ourselves" he winks at Nessa, making her blush.

"Jess Avani is in the kitchen, getting some cereal." Nessa answers my question.

"Thank you Nessa." I smile at her, "I'll catch up with you guys later" I smile at them and they smile back. I walk into to the kitchen and see Kio and Avani standing, talking to each other with a bowl of cereal in Avani's hand.

"Avani when are we leaving?" I ask ask Avani.

"Good morning Jess" Kio greats me.

"Uhg I wanna go home." I say laying my head on Avani's shoulder.

"Someone is definitely not a morning person" Kio looks at Avani and laughs. Bryce walks in.

"Bryce they are bullying me" I say in a cranky voice and he pulls me into a hug. Bryce and I surprisingly grew very close in a short time. I was with him yesterday during the party and he was complaing how Addison wants to jump into a relationship and how he wants to go slow. I explained to him that he should talk to her about how he feels and stop hiding his feeling towards her. I adore Bryce and Addison. They look so cute together.

"Hey, stop bulling her" he says while stroking his hand through my open hair. everyone in the room laughs.

"ok Jess grab your things let's go, Kio is dropping us." Avani says while putting the empty bowl in the sink. The whole ride I was listening to songs with my AirPods in.

We reach home and I jump on my bed. I try to sleep but I'm not sleepy so I watch vampire diaries.

"Jess!! Let's have a movie night." Avani calls out to me.

"ok I'll be right there." I shut the screen off my laptop and walk in the living room and see Avani with a bowl of popcorn in her hand.

"AVANI I LOVE YOU" I say grabbing the bowl from her hand and tossing a popcorn in my mouth.

We choose to watch Finding Nemo. 40 mins in, I hear my phone go off.

I see that its a message from Jaden. Wait how did he get my number? Better question, how do I have his number saved in my phone?
