Weekends bring joy and sorrow, joy because there is so much we can do and sorrow because we don't know what to do. So, me my dad and my Mom were discussing what to do that weekend, as we did so, me and my mom looked square in the eye. As all of us knew there was going to be a huge fight... So, me and my mom got our mischievous looks, but just before I could say I wanted to go to a gaming centre or get myself a drone, or my mom said she wanted to go shopping, my dad said lets go shopping. Even though my dad wanted to help me fight the battle, he never helped me fight as he knew we would lose. And so said shopping.

So, later me, my smug feeling mom and my dad, went to the nearest mall. As soon as we entered, my mom was off. I... Was just sulking around...I did ask my dad to buy me a drone, but my dad said it will effect my studies and so didn't buy me one no matter how many times I asked

I sulked around for longer until...I spotted this gaming battle where we had to get the highest number of kills in a game of Fortnite to win 10,000 bucks!(not v bucks obviously) I was pumped! I told my dad I was going to enroll and he was completely fine with it. So I zoomed up, and in I was!

The first half of the game didn't go so well... Since it was my first time. but later i got confidence and stared going on rampage. I was number one. I was happy for I knew I was number one even though it was not official. I was so sad that my parents were missing my amazing performance.

So,I had finally finished my game and was waiting for the results happily enough knowing I was number one. I waited and waited as the announcer came up and said the winner is...you! He said pointing at me so loudly that my parents from the shop near by came running towards me and hugged me so hard as I went on stage waving my certificate and the 10,000 bucks around.

That was the most memorable day I had. I bought myself my favourite drone and my parents were in the happiest mood I had seen them in a while. I? Well, I sure was happy because I got a drone bought off my own hard earned money, and was able to do gaming as well! What other way to end a amazing weekend in an amazing way!?

PS. I am a 12 year old boy who's intention of the Article I wrote is to make you forget about the lockdown. If it did I am successful.
