Third Person POV

"Hey, Edd!" Toms's voice filled the house from his room.

"Yeah Tom!?"

"Can you get me a bottle of Smirnoff!"

He heard the fridge open and the sound of feet coming towards his room. Edd came in and closed the door. He sat on Tom's bed and gave him the bottle.

"You know, flower, you gotta stop with that drinking."

Tom opened the bottle and took a sip of it. He placed the bottle down and looked out his window.

"I just can't get over what happened with Tord."

Edd sat up straight and pulled Tom downwards and placed Toms head onto his chest.

"It took a toll on all of us, we just have to try and look past it."

Tom gripped onto Edds sweater and soon he felt tears coming out of his eyes. He wrapped his arms around Edds neck and cried into his neck.

"I killed a man, nothing will ever change that."

Edd hugged Tom tightly and pulled him towards his chest.

"You did the right thing, it was either Tord or the world."

"And who is this flower you speak of." Tom giggled slightly and looked back at Edd. He knew that Edd would call him that nickname or pet name that Edd gave him to mess with Tom, because Tom hated to be called anything with a feminine meaning towards it. To Tom's surprise Edd just stayed quiet. Edd got up and picked Tom up bridal style.

"Uh, Edd?"

Edd still stayed quiet and just walked out of his room. He carried him towards his room and just plopped him onto his bed. Edd walked out of his room to the kitchen. Tom sat up straight and tried to process what was happening. Soon Edd came back with two cola bottles in hand. He sat down next to Tom and gave him one of the bottles.

"This is the only time I'll let you drink my cola, so drink it wisely."

Tom giggled at what Edd said and he brought the bottle of cola up to his face. He felt a slight pink cross his cheeks and when he looked over at Edd, Edd did too. Tom looked at Edd and Edd looked back at Tom. Edd rested his hand against Tom's cheek, pulling Tom closer to him. Tom continued the second until they were about to kiss, six, five, four, three, two, on- They heard the door fling open, and both of their hearts sunk. Tom and Edd turned to see Matt standing by the open door, with his arms crossed.

"What is it, Matt," Edd said with a slight bit of annoyance in his voice.

"Somebody knocked on the front door asking if they could see Tom." Matt picked up his mirror and looked at himself.

"Well tell them to f-." Tom covered Edds mouth, while Matt looked up from his mirror with a confused look.

"I'll just go see what they want." Matt left and went back to his room. Tom and Edd looked at each other for a while. Tom kissed Edd on the cheek and handed him back the bottle of cola.

"Can you do me a favor and also put away the Smirnoff in my room." Tom walked out of Edds room to the front door.

"Yes?"

"You're Tom right?"

"Yes, why does that matter?"

"It's because of Tord".Tom's eyes widened as he heard what he said. "And it's not about you almost killing him."

"Then what is it about."

Tord POV

"Patryk!"

"Yes, sir."

"Where is Paul."

"He called in sick, he said something about an allergic reaction or a common cold, Red Leader."

"Fine, but then tell him that tomorrow he's training the newbies."

"Yes, Red Leader." Patryk sighed from relief, at least he knew he wasn't the one to be training the newbies. For some odd reason everyone hated being the one to train the newbies.

When Patryk left my office I let out a sigh. I went through my desks drawers and pulled out a picture of when Tom and I were in kindergarten. We were friends before, but I had to go and fuck it up! I stared at the photo for a while longer until I felt my face heat up. He was was perfect, to perfect. And he was going to be mine. I felt a smirk spread across my face as I continued to stare at the picture.

"Oh, Tommy~ You'll be mine soon~"

My thoughts were disrupted by Patryk barging into my office.

"Patryk! What is the meaning of this!? I slipped the photo into my pocket and watched as Patryk trying to catch his breath.

"Red Leader, s-sir. There was no s-sign of Paul in the base"

Tom POV

"So you're one Tords army soldiers, and Tord is Red Leader?"

"Basically."

"And why do I need to know this." I kicked a pebble that was by my feet and then continued to look down at the ground.

"He, well, I've been hearing some, let's say strange things in his office, about you."

I felt my eyes widened and my brows furrow, 'He was NOT saying what I think he was saying.' He saw the expression on my face and I guess he knew what I thought.

"Not like that! Or I think..."

"Wait, what!?"

"Never mind"

"But why did you tell me this?"

"You have monster DNA, right? Well, he wants to kidnap you and use your monster DNA to...."

I looked over at Paul waiting for him to finish what he said, but he just stayed quiet with an unnerved facial expression.

"He wants to trade your DNA to get... something."

"I have a few questions. One. How do you know who I am and that I have monster DNA? Two. What does he want in return? And Three. What are you getting out of telling me this?"

"Well for the first one, I used to lived around here, and when you got into your stupid adventures I would hear everyone talking about the danger they were in." I gave him a nervous laugh and looked the other direction. "To answer the second part is that a fully matured monster can tell who is a monster." 'So he's a monster too? Then why would Tord need me?' "Tord doesn't know that I'm a monster. He only knows of you. And for your second question, none knows what he wants in return all they know is that he wants or needs it."

"What about the last. What are you getting out of this."

"For our species not to die out." I looked at him with a confused look. "Well, I gotta go. The names Paul, Thomas."

"It's just Tom, but call me whatever since your the wise one." But then in a blink of an eye, Paul was gone. I looked around at where I was. 'Oh, good. I'm not that far away from the apartment.' I looked at the sky as it started to turn a midnight black. Soon I started to make my way home, and try to decide if, so-called, Paul was telling the truth, or just playing a prank on me.
