"Grace, come down here!" you heard Dylan call from downstairs. Mom said that there would be a big announcement today for Dylan. He seemed to be the only important one when it came to music. I am very close with Dylan, almost as if we were joined at the hip, but sometimes I get a little tired of being in his shadow.
I made my way downstairs and saw the family sitting on the couch. Dylan was standing in the middle of the room.
"So I have some very big news for you guys today. Jacob has asked me to go on tour with him!"
At that moment your heart dropped. You couldn't be apart from Dylan. He was your best friend. You felt like you could tell him anything. How could he do this!
"SO WHAT. ARE YOU JUST GONNA LEAVE ME? YOU CANT EXPECT ME TO JUST BE OKAY WITH THIS AND-"
"Grace, calm down... let me finish. I knew this would happen with you so I went ahead and asked Jacob if you could come. He said yes. Sierra will be there. Don't worry."
"Thank God, Dylan. For a second i thought you would just leave me here."
"Don't worry, Grace. I could never do that. I'm here for you."
"Promise?" I ask while holding out my pinkie.
"Promise, I love ya, sis." Dylan said while pulling me in for a hug.
"Love ya too, Dyl." you said while hugging him for a while.
