Summer vacation is almost over. Finally! My parents always take us away for the last two weeks to go somewhere.
I would rather be with my friends. I know family is everything but my friends are also just like family. My best friend usually comes with us but this year her parents would not let her.
It was kind of sad because she is like my sister. But we still have one week left before school starts.
I got my bags and left the airport I left my car in the parking lot so I could go visit my friends when I got back.
I texted my bestfriend.
Hi I am back want to hang out
Obvisouly come over to my house
OK be there in 5
I drove over to her house. I got out of the car and opened her front door "Willow I'm here" I yelled.
I then saw a short brunette running towards me "ANGEL" Willow yelled she hugged me right away.
"Hey" I laughed "I have not saw you in forever" she smiled. "Only two weeks" "Time is what the world revolves around every second minute hour day week and year matters" willow stated.
Did I mention Willow was crazy smart. "Well why don't we go to the falls since I just got back". "Sure I will text everyone".
I got my suit case and grabbed my bathing suit out of it. I went back inside and got changed and grabbed one of Willow's beach towels.
"You ready" I asked "yup let's go you are driving today". We got in my car and drove to the Falls.
'The Falls' was a cool spot to hang out that I found with a group of friends we have been hanging out there since we were 10 years old. 8 years we have been hanging out there.
We do not tell anyone about it we have told are parents but they do not know where it is.
"I texted everybody to come they all said they would be there" Willow grinned "Ok cool". I turned up the radio and Willow and I were singing and dancing until we got there.
I parked on the side of the dirt road. We got out and went on the trail that we made years ago. We followed the trail for a few minutes and then we got there.
Josh and Conner were there they are best friends and so was Aly and Dallas who were twins. The only resemblance was there hair color and eyes.
"Hey Heaven" Dallas smiled. "Hello Texas" we had a inside joke I always called him Texas and he called me heaven.
He hugged Willow she frowned for a moment and then had a big smile on her face in a second.
I think I was the only one who noticed. I would have to ask her about that later. "Angel oh my god I missed you so much" Aly squealed and hugged me. She was very excitable.
"I missed you to Al". "Who are you again" Josh smirked. "I am Willow obvisouly" he laughed "Its good to have you back Angel you are the only one who thinks my jokes are funny" he pouted.
Conner ran up and hugged me "I missed my little Ang" (an-ge) "Aw I missed you to Con".
I looked at the Falls it was a little water fall that goes into a river but we discovered a little cave being the falls.
"Let's go to the cave" I annoucened. I set my towel down on a rock and walked down with Willow once I knew we were out of earshot.
I asked her "Why did you frown earlier when Dallas hugged you do you not like him anymore or" "Oh no I do I was just thinking about something" "ok".
I did not want to push because I knew she would tell me if he felt like it.
I walked under the falls and went into the cave. I took the lighter we left in the cave and lit the latern we brought in here years ago.
"We shall go shopping for school outfits tommorow" Aly stated. "Aye aye captain" Josh yelled.
"School starts in 6 days I hope I do not get Mrs berken this year she was my homeroom last year" I rolled my eyes.
"Ya I know she got mad at me for hiding under her desk" Conner frowned. "Probably because you were under there for half the class playing on your phone" willow laughed.
"She would not have even found you if you did not yell 'STOP RUNNING INTO THE POLES FLAPPY BIRD" Josh said.
"That was the best part though the whole class was laughing for 10 minutes straight" Aly giggled.
"Remember when Angel told her she did not understand why we had to do homework over Christmas vacation she flipped" Dallas said.
"Hey its called a vacation for a reason I'm not going to do homework on vacation" I stated.
We all sat there telling story's until it the sun set. 'Well I should get home" Josh said. "Same" we all agreed. We started leaving the cave one by one.
Dallas grabbed my arm "Can I talk to you" he asked "Sure" "Are you coming Angel" Willow asked.
"Yup one minute I will turn the latern off meet me at the car". "Ok" "What's up Dallas" "Did you notice anything about Willow".
"Yes why" I raised my eyebrows. "She has just been acting strange lately I asked he why but she won't tell me". "I asked he about it to she did not say anything though".
He frowned "ok will you tell me if she does" I nodded. I shut the latern off and walked up to the car. Willow was waiting in the front seat staring outside.
I got in and started the car but sat there for a second. I turned my head "Willow are you ok" I asked "I'm fine" she smiled.
I frowned I knew her smile was fake. "You know you can tell me anything right?" "I know don't worry I'm just thinking about those poor puppy's at the SPCA".
I know she is worried about that stuff. But I know that's not what she is worried about right know. She will tell me eventually.
I pulled into her drive way. "I would ask to come over but I have to unpack but I'll be over tommorow morning to pick you up so we can go shopping" I said.
"Ok" she mumbled. There is something wrong Willow is usually happy and super excited about everything. She will tell me tommorow.
I got home my parents and brother were already sleeping. I unpacked my suitcase then jumped on my bed and fell asleep right away.
When I woke up I did my normal morning routine got a shower, dressed and ate. A hour later I walked out to my car and drove to Willow's.
I parked in her drive way to lazy to get out of the car.
You awake yet get outside
5 minutes later no response 10 minutes later nothing.
Something felt unsettling I went to the door and knocked. Nobody answered. Not even her parents.
I called Willow's mom "Hi I told Willow I would pick he up this morning but she's not here". "Angel can you come to the hospital right away" her mom said sniffling "yes I'm on my way".
Something's wrong I know it. My stomach is flipping. You know when you have that feeling that's something is very wrong. Well that's what I'm feeling.
I parked and ran inside I saw Willow's mom her face was red and stained with tears.
