🔺Why Constitutional Monarchy?

Even though most of the countries follow today's contemporary trend, the system of democracy, some countries like the United kingdom have the privilege of having a unique system of balancing both democracy and monarchy. Though the sound of Constitutional monarchy gives us a sense of inequality, in reality it actually increases our feeling of patriotism towards the country. Having a monarchy has its own benefits. Mainly, it ensures the continuity of national services gaining the trust and giving constancy to the citizens of England. Even though the monarch has limited power, they play a crucial role in maintaining law and order. The monarch doesn't directly involve in law enforcement activities but they grace us with their noble ideologies which greatly benefit the nation. Despite paying taxes in the name of royal family, the citizens of Great Britain deeply adore and admire the monarch, especially when it is a queen ruling, we've heard the glory of women of Windsor. It is because of this devotion and loyalty of the citizens, the monarch could effectively participate for the cause of welfare of the nation. The prime minister is elected democratically via elections, whereas the monarchs are anointed following the system of succession. Sliding over the pages of ancient traditional history, the monarchy gives the people a vernacular feeling, a feeling of belonging to the domain. While all other countries are growing economically, the Great British and the Commonwealth realms are restoring their heritage and ethics, equally competing in economic growth too. While all other countries require birth anniversaries and remembrance days to celebrate their past, the people of England celebrate each moment, each day, with patriotism and devotion towards the crown. The queen of England, being the head of the commonwealth, benefits its economy and also extend its arms, building strong international relations. It is believed that the queen contributes a total of 107$ million US to the nation's economy. Therefore having a monarch is not a disadvantage on the whole, the royal family works with immense duty, responsibility and sacrifice and won over the hearts of millions of the British. Exceeding the longest reigning monarch, Queen Victoria, and her 63 years service as a sovereign, in the year 2015, Queen Elizabeth II became the longest reigning monarch in the history of Great Britain, currently entering her 69th year this 2021,and ready to celebrate her platinum jubilee next year. This struck people with a sense of awe and astonishment, adding another milestone to the great Elizabethan age as stated by Churchill.

🔺Britain: Rulers and Resilience

People imagine the life of monarchs to be the happiest. With no prominent work to do, people think all they have to do is attend some fancy meetings, state openings, launches, hosting dinner parties wearing tiaras. Well, its a lot more than that. They aren't made kings or queens, just because they were born into the royal family, it's because they were raised to accept such a position, because they were taught to hide the expression that wearing the crown is actually a burden, because they were forced to put people before family, put royal duties before some quality time, put aside what they  aspire for and make serving the people their primary motto, the meaning of their life. Its not easy to spend whole of your childhood, learning the constitution, or learning how to address the public, or how to socialise in a gathering quite politely. Its rather easy to be born in an ordinary family than to be born in a royal one where they learn on how the system works or what the country expects from them, when all they need to learn is general mathematics or art or whatever is taught in a normal school. The monarchs we see today have undergone all those procedures to stand where they are right now. Knowing the fact that this is how its gonna be for the rest of their lives, or how their children's lives are gonna be, dry , with no other duty except serving the nation, yet they confidently and heart fully, accept the crown, with a sense of responsibility and duty. They believe its their purpose of life. The royal family of the United Kingdom have been producing greater monarchs, with visionaries from time immemorial. Be it King Edward, Henry, George, James, Louie, the domain of England was tarnished in different ways in their  ruling periods to stand in a position superior to any other empire. They all had different ways of ruling, diversified methodologies, completely opposite views, but each leading Britain to greater heights. The reign of the queens of the United Kingdom, need no introduction. Each glorified England in way never before. Each with greater progress, promises and practicalness. Their reigns were a celebration in history, great milestones to monarchy, periods of joy, riches and no suffrage found. Literally, heavenly times, with goddesses on the throne. Be it Queen Elizabeth I, Empress Matilda, Queen Mary I, Queen Anne, Queen Victoria the great, Queen consorts who famously stood out for people in adversity like Queen Mother Mary, Queen Alexandra, Queen Mother Elizabeth, or the modern day monarch, ruling the world with grace and godliness, Queen Elizabeth II, everyone was great in their own way. Reigns no less than decades, ages of supremacy, clashing down all other empires stood the Queens of England. People filled with a hype, treasuries with money, willingness of countries to join such a supreme empire increasing, the periods of queens were a global sensation. Queen Victoria, left a mark of her own in the hearts of the people. Always appearing in black this lady literally shook the world during her reign, with great countries like India under her rule, she truly was a great empress. Coming to Queen Elizabeth I, A lady with red hair, great values, and immense responsibility. Not expecting the throne, being third in line of succession, this great Ruler accepted the crown timidly but ended up leading Britain through doors of development and thundering progress, remaining as one of the finest monarchs the world has seen. Queen Elizabeth II is no less. Unexpectedly jumped up in the line of succession due to the abdication of her uncle, queen Elizabeth II was known for her efforts to bring together the commonwealth, bring nations together under her able rule. Almost reigning for 7 decades this great monarch stands top in the list of British monarchy, leading England to heights which were thought to be unachievable. Her reign, her commonwealth journey, the family scandals she faced, the wars she saw, the economic drops she experienced, with world developing so fast and getting used to newer and newer technologies, almost living a century can be challenging, yet she bounces back with energy unimaginable even at the age of 94, impressing billions throughout the world and when something about monarchy comes up, the only name people could think of is Queen Elizabeth II, the monarch supreme. Came to the throne as a young lady, with modest ability and little imagination, anointed with holy oil, holding the Orb and Sceptre, wearing the famous imperial state crown, with uncertainty and doubt about the future, she graced the commonwealth as their new queen, and what did she turn out to be, a goddess!
