Chapter 1
Friend Zone
Taeyeon's POV
Tiffany and I have been friends for 7 years. Since middle school. I have been hiding my feelings for her since 9th grade. Until now she doesn't know about this. Few people knows it but I told them not to tell her. So today, I'm gonna confess to her and see if I'm going out of the friend zone.
"Hey Taeng!" Yuri called out from the living room. We're room mates. I stood up from my bed and sat beside him on the couch.
"What's up." I greeted while grabbing the other pair of joystick and started playing with him.
"So are gonna tell her?" Yuri asked. His focus is still on the game.
"Yeah." I replied doing the same thing as Yuri is doing.
"Really?" Tell me, what's your plan.." He quickly paused the game and looked straight into my eye.
He knows what I feel for Tiffany. He is actually the reason why I got the courage to confess. He nagged all day long just to make me do it. But it's okay, it's not like I'm gonna keep this feeling forever.
"Ahh. I'm setting up a blind date." I started talking but was interrupted by Yuri's sudden comment.
"Dude that's lame!" He shouted while throwing a cushion on my face.
"Dude let me finish!"
He scoffed then nodded.
"It's not really a blind date. What I'm planning is, she'll be my coach for my fake blind date."
"Dude, can you rephrase it."
"Why are you so slow." I shook my head unbeleivably at him before continuing. "I told her that I have a blind date with someone so I asked her to be my coach or my wing girl. You know, like she'll be helping me in things and she'll be giving me advises etc etc."
"So you mean there is no such thing as blind date?"
You are so slow.
"Yeah. It will turn out as our date, if she agree."
"Arasso~. That's good. Getting her thoughts."
"Yeah. I know. But I'm still nervous though." We both put our attention back to the game.
"Don't be. Just act cool. Like you always do." He gave me a pat on the back.
I look at my wrist watch and damn it's already 10:30 am.
"Gotta go man." I quickly made my way out of the dorm. Before I could close the door I heard Yuri wishing me goodluck. I smiled and left. I entered my car and started the engine.
After a few minutes I reached her house.
"Jeez. I'm nervous. Ahhhhh. Come on snap out of it Taeng." I shook my head before exiting my car.
I just made my way inside without knocking since I'm always welcome.
"TaeTae!" She gave me a hug and her famous eye-smile.
