Chapter 1

Lucy's POV

Ahh..finally done with the job

I thought as me and the rest of Team Natsu got out of the train station and heading back to Fairy Tail. We just got done with a job request to take out bandits that were roaming around Clover Town.

"I'm never riding a train ever again" Natsu said in despair as he just recovered from his motion sickness.

"You always say that every time we get off the train, Natsu." Happy said as I held him in my arms nibbling on a fish. Natsu huffed and grumbled under his breath while crossing his arms.

"You're so lame when it comes to transportation, ash face." Gray smirked as he said those words making Natsu grow a tick mark of his head, and bumping heads with Gray.

"Wanna say that again, ya walking freezer?!"

"You heard me, flame for brains!"

"Ya wanna go?!"

"I'll take you on right here!!"

"THAT'S ENOUGH"

The two trembled as Erza pointed her sword towards them making them hug each other.
"Y-YES MA'AM" they said as Erza kept her sword and continued walking.

"Poor Natsu and Gray." Wendy said as she carried Carla in her arms, I shook my head and continued walking, catching up to Natsu who has a pout on his face.

"You guys never change at all." I sighed as I carried a now sleeping Happy in my arms.

"He just gets on my nerves all the time." He grunts as he continues walking beside me. He puts his hands behind his head as we continue our journey to the guildhall.

"We're back!" Wendy said as we finally arrived at the guild, some greeted back as we walked towards the bar where Mira was at.

"Welcome back, you guys. How was the job?" She asked as she was wiping down on the counter.

"It was fine, the bandits didn't put up much of a fight so it was easy to take them down." Gray said as he sat down on one of the tables along with Natsu. Wendy was having a conversation with Romeo at the other table.

"Can I have a slice of Strawberry Cake, Mira?"
Erza said as she say down beside Gray.
"Of course! Anything you want Lucy?" She asked and I just ordered a milkshake.

She returned serving Erza's cake which made her dig in immediately while I say down on one of the bar stools as Mira served me my milkshake. I thanked her and began to take a sip.

"So Lucy~" Mira sang with a smirk on her face as she leaned over the counter.
"How are you and Natsu~?" She smirked and I rolled my eyes at her question.
"Ha-Ha very funny, Mira" I said making her pout in disappointment, "You're no fun." She said as she took my now empty glass.

"Lucy, have you ever thought of Natsu in a romantic way?" Mira asked and I raised my brow at her and looked over my shoulder to see Natsu digging into his food in a messy manner.
I shook my head in disapproval and turned back to look at Mira.

"It's impossible to see him in a romantic way, Mira, just look at him." I sigh and she giggled

"I think you two would be adorable together!" She said with hearts in her eyes making me shake my head.

"Yeah, if that were the case, I'm gonna have to pass" I said with a sigh and she pouted in disappointment and went back to tending the bar.

"Natsu, I'm hanging out with Carla and Wendy at their place tonight, bye!" Happy said as he went after Carla and Wendy, leaving Natsu behind not giving him a chance to respond

"Guys, I'm gonna head out now." Natsu said as he exited the guild and going home.

An hour later, I began to feel tired and told everyone I'll be heading home for today.
I walked to the direction of my place, humming a random tune. As I finally arrived, I set my keys at my desk and took off my boots.

As I was about to take the other one off, a hand suddenly covered my mouth from behind preventing me to scream as this strangers other hand came to rest on my stomach making my heart beat fast as I didn't know who this person was. I felt it's breathe fanning against my ear as I heard the stranger say,

"Hey, baby"
