"(Y/N), I brought you some clean clothes! They should do for now." She let out a soft giggle, making you smile in return. "I have a proposition for you as well." You cocked an eyebrow, gazing into the demoness' eyes. "Yes?"

"I suppose you'll need a job so... Why not work for me?"

You stood in the shower, staring at nothing as the water ran down your body soothingly. You had told Charlie you would think of her proposal. "What should I do?" you asked aloud, groaning in defeat. "Gosh, this would be so much easier if I could ask my best friend for advice!" You whined. Though you knew what you did had sent you to hell, you still felt as though it wasn't your fault. At least not entirely. You were full of anger, hell you didn't register half of what you did until you were dead.
You turned off the water, grabbing a clean towel and drying the water off you, before putting on the clean clothes Charlie brought you. You sighed, "I need to take a breather, to figure this all out." You inhaled then exhaled, leaving the bathroom to step back into the room, when there was a knock at your door. You cocked an eyebrow. Taking a hesitant, almost foreboding step towards it. Your hands shakily taking the doorknob and slowly opening it.
"Hello, sweetheart!" Alastor grinned, taking it upon himself to invite himself into your new room.
You closed the door behind you, figuring the tall man had only forgotten to ask. "I see you're settling in nicely, my dear." Alastor shifted to look at you. "Yeah, I guess so. Thank you for this." You gave him a tiny smile; he seemed to react to this, his usual white noise static coming to a slight halt as if he hitched his breath. "It's no problem at all, I felt like being nice. It happens once in a while." Alastor seemed to retort, resorting to fixing his monocle while his eyes shifted to the side. "Ah right," he paused, dusting his suit off before talking again. "Charlie has offered you a position to work in the hotel I heard." His smile thinned, making a pleasant 'w' shape.
"She did. I asked her to let me think about it. After all, I did just get here and I don't exactly know my place in this world." You responded, scratching the back of your neck nervously. 'yArE YaRe-, you're talking too much.' you thought to yourself, looking down to the ground.
Alastor was silent, deliberating what to say. "I may sound biased but, you would make a good addition to the staff, we could use a bit of cleaning help. Maybe redecorating." Alastor suggested.
Your eyes lit up at this, you did like redecorating from time to time. Usually when things got too drab or didn't fit your new aesthetic. "That doesn't sound half bad..." You mumbled, placing your finger on your cheek in thought.
"I'd say you'd make the place seem less like death and more like living! Oh, like the good ol' 20s, my! What great times those were." Alastor reminisced, causing his smile to become soft. You couldn't help but smile a tad at how cute he was being. Wait. Did you just think he was being cute?
"I beg your pardon, I didn't mean to space out." He cleared his throat, tucking his arms behind his back. "(Y/N), I do think I can assist you in finding an aesthetic for the redecoration. If you choose to do such a task that is."
You thought about it for a bit, your eyes on Alastor. "The color scheme would have to be exactly like the rest of the place, wouldn't it?" you inquired. "I think you should have a say in that.~"
