It was a sunny afternoon, the sun shining down on the roof of an old house. A farmer sat with his daughter on the back porch, the wind-chimes singing their sweet melody. The farmer sat on a rocking chair, rocking back a fourth a shotgun in his lap. The little girl looked over, holding a small rabbit doll in her hands. It's another Friday, another rabbit pie day on the farm- She thought to herself, sighing softly.
''Why do you shoot the rabbits father?'' The little girl asked, a worried expression on her face.
''Daisy, you know it's to protect the crops. Besides you like rabbit pie don't you? Now go play in the corn field, I need to shoot a rabbit-'' The farmer said, shooing her towards the corn field.
Daisy stood, holding the rabbit doll in her hands, walking down the steps. She walked towards the corn field, vanishing from sight behind some corn. She kept walking humming a small tune, her blonde hair bouncing. ''Run rabbit, run rabbit, run run run-'' She sang softly skipping around, her shoes kicking up some dust as she followed the dusty rows. She shifted, seeing something in the distance. She tilted her head slightly and then went towards it. It was a maze made of bushes and thorns. She looked worried at the maze entrance. Suddnely a loud gunshot echoed out making Daisy flinch, the rabbit doll falling into the maze. Daisy shook slightly and took a step towards the maze. Then stepped in, leaning down and grabbing the doll. At that moment thorns covered the exit and left her trapped inside. Daisy turned eyes wide in horror at the thorns. Suddenly the familiar music of ''Run Rabbit Run'' started palying, but it's pitch was deeper and filled the air with dread.
