"Why do you do the things you do, Tim?"
"It's a messed up world we live in. One day everyone's helping one another and the next, they're trying to kill each other" He tells the officer. The officer nods and pulls out a pen and a notepad. She writes something down as Tim stares at her. "When did you start doing this? Who hurt you?" She looks at him, a look of concern and worry is plastered on her face.
"I tried to do it differently. I tried to make them all my friends. But now," He looks at her with a blank expression, "Now I want them dead" His voice was low and ominous. A shiver runs down the officer's spine. She writes down what the man had said and stands up. "Thank you for your time. Officer Robin will take you to your cell" Tim nods as the young officer leaves the room. Before the door shuts completely another officer walks in, "Let's go Tim."
The criminal stands up and walks out of the small room. He follows the officer to his cell. The officer takes the handcuffs off of the criminal when they reach the cell. "Thanks officer Robin" "You're welcome Tim." He locks the cell and walks away. As soon as the officer is out of sight, Tim sits on his bed and thinks of a way to escape. After a few hours of thinking, he decides to lay down and rest for a while.

The young officer from before walks up to Tim's cell and unlocks it "It's time for lunch." He slowly opened his eyes, waiting for them to adjust to the light. He gets up and walks over to her, he gives her a soft smile. "Hello Sarah. I would actually like to go to the library instead." "Okay," she nods, "I'll take you there." Tim follows her to the police car and gets in the back. Sarah climbed into the driver's side and drove to the library.
Once they get there he walks up the stairs to the second floor. Sarah follows him up the stairs, Tim walks over to the bookshelf closest to the window. "I'll be downstairs if you need me" she tells him. He nods and grabs a book from the shelf, flipping through the pages. Sarah takes another quick glance at Tim before walking down the stairs, back to the first floor.
After a few minutes Tim puts the book back on the shelf and looks around, making sure nobody else is up there with him. He walks back over to the window and and opens it. He looks out the window, checking the distance from the window pane to the ground. He climbs onto the window pane and jumps down, once he is on the ground he makes a run for it. He runs into the woods and hides. After a while he makes his way towards his house.
After half an hour Sarah walks up to the second floor to check on Tim. She walks over to the window where she last saw him. She notices the window is open "Oh no." She looks out the window, "How? It's a twenty foot drop." She says while looking at the ground. She runs down the stairs and to her police car. She gets into the car and grabs her radio, "He's gone" she says into it. "What do you mean he's gone?" A deep voice asks from the other end of the radio. "He jumped out of the second story window" "We have to find him. Get back here and tell us everything." "Okay Mike" Sarah puts the radio down and drives back to the prison. Once she gets back to the prison she hops out of the car and walks inside. "There you are, now tell us everything that happened."
"It was lunch time when I got him. He told me that he wanted to go to the library instead so I took him there."
Mike nods his head, "Okay, continue."
"He walked up to the second floor and I followed him. I told him if he needed me, I would be on the first floor."
"Why didn't you stay there with him and watch him?" Mike asked her, raising one eyebrow.
