(Y/n) picked up the slip of paper that was laid on the front steps of her apartment complex. "Newspaper? I don't read the newspaper." You shrugged it off and shoved the note into the pockets of your jacket. You unlocked your door to be greeted with a large golden retriever, handing you a sloppy mess of paper.

Scrunching your nose and picking it up, you noticed it to be a crumpled newspaper. So that's where it went.

You grabbed a piece of paper from your desk and wrote a couple words on it before sliding it under her neighbor's door.
