We were walking for almost 20 minutes already and still hadn't arrived at the place Elio was talking about. The bugs were going at my leg nonstop and I was tired of slapping them away.

Rafaela and Elio had distanced from us talking on and on about random things. Cj walked behind me, I tried to keep my eyes infront of me to not make things more awkward than they already were.

His footsteps suddenly sped up and soon he was walking next to me, "Hey," he murmured in a low voice.

I was surprised, "Hey," I said back to him.

"Its been a while," He kind of whispered.

I scratched the top of my head, "Uh, yeah I know," I scoffed with a smile.

He went silent.

"Do you ever think about it," He questioned, looking into my eyes.

I widened my eyes but quickly covered it up with giggle, looking at the ground, "I don't-I don't know what you mean-"

"The night we had sex," he said loudly.

I shot my eyes at him as my mouth opened slightly. I stopped in my tracks looking over at Rafaela and Elio, they were turned around, staring at the both of us. I could tell they were confused but anxious to find out what they must've "misunderstood".

"What did he say?" Rafaela taunted.

"Nothing," I barked.

Elio looked at us a final time through the top of his sunglasses before laughing, looking away and continued walking, Rafaela followed.

"Are you fucking stupid?" I snapped at him, I swear I could feel smoke exiting my ears from the sides of my head and my face turning into the color of a fucking tomato.

"Do you-"

"No!" I shouted. I knew he did it on purpose I could tell in his face, why would he do that?
