John x Dave

It's a hot summer day in Texas as Dave sits in front of a fan in his apartment in Texas, John and him had been talking about all day over Pesterchum, John had been hinting a prize all day to Dave but hadn't told him. At that thought there was a knock at Dave's front door, he got up feeling the heat from outside by just stepping out of the line of the fan. As he walks out of his room to the door he's met with a pile of smuppets outside.
"Damn it bro, learn to put stuff else where" he mumbled under his breath while avoiding the pile and opening the door to meet a shorter boys smile, box framed glasses on his face and a very familiar shirt.
"Dave!" He jumps at me giving me a big hug. "This was my surprise Dave do you like it"
" Woah, I though you were just gonna ship something here but you brought your whole self."
"Yep!" Dave's arms wrap around John giving him a hug back. "I hope you like it!" John exclaimed.
"Like it, I love it. You put in all the effort to come here from all the way from Washington to Texas."
"Yeah, it was a long ride but the bus fair was cheep enough so I decided why not, I mean, oh course it took alot of begging but I'm here now which is what counts!"
"Haha, so how long till you have to go back" Dave asks pulling back from the hug a bit but still having his arms around him.
"I should be able to stay as long as you like. I don't want to be a bother so when you want me to leave just tell me okay?" John says smiling up at me, the frames of his glasses shine in the light if the house.
"Stay as long as you would like okay"
Truth be told Dave has had a small crush on his best friiend friend for some time now. But he was to scared to admit it to himself in fear of rejection. And he didn't want to ruin the friendship they had going on. It was a scary thought to him, loosing John.
After they both pulled away from the long drawn out hug they went over to the couch after Dave had kicked the smuppets off the couch and sat down having a conversation that lasted and hour or so. Yet John's mind was in a different place. The real reason he came out here wasn't because of their friendship but his crush for him. He had openly admitted to himself that he was a homosexual that spring so he was still questioning it a bit but he undoubtedly had a crush on Dave.

After more useless rambling for a few hours going on about random topics Dave turns to John.    
"Hey you want to watch one of you crappy movies?" Dave suggests.
"Sure, I came prepared if this were to happen!" He starts to dig though his bag and finds several Nick Cage movies. Some being Con Air, National Treasures, face/off, and plenty of others. "Which one do you want to watch Dave?"
Dave stares at the movies looking for one but his mind keeps wondering.

I look at the movies, the real reason I was doing this was because I'd hope to get closer to him, maybe with a romance movie. Think Dave think. Does Nick Cage have any romantic movies?? I got it!
"Uh do you possibly have Moonstruck?" I say looking at him.
"I think so, you know this is a romcom though right?" He looks at me with a questioning face.
"Yeah, I've just been in the mood to uh, watch romcoms" smooth Dave, your sounding like the carcinoGeneticist guy.
"Hm okay Dave, I haven't watched it in awhile so this is great!" He says smiling handing me the disk to go put in the DVD player in the living room. As the movie continues our eyes both stare at it. I had been slowly scooting over closer to John without him realizing yet.
"The stars are perfect" John begins to recite from the movie, " not us, not us, we are here to ruin ourselves, and, and to break our hearts. And love the wrong people. And die." I look at John as he says this poring his heart out in it. Man he really does love Nicholas Cage doesn't he.
I scoot closer to him and look at him, little space between us. I try to make this romantic but I haven't done this in awhile. I clear my throat and say his name
"John" I continue to look at him.
"Yeah Da-" he notices how close we are, his face begins to turn a light shade of red.
"John I-" I grab one of his hands and put it in mine Intertwining our fingers. He stares with intent in his eyes. "John I need to tell you something" i look through my shades at him wondering if there ruining the moment.
"What is it?" He says still blushing, I can tell he's not trying to stutter.
"I don't want to ruin or friendship by saying this but" I inhale gathering courage "I think I may like you John."
John stares back at me. And then he pulls me into a kiss, damn I though I'd be the one to make the first move. Our lips meet and his soft ones meet mine. The kiss was sweet and long, filled with love. I put my hand behind his back holding him closer to me and smiling under the kiss. Eventually we pull away.
"Dave I like you too." He says as he puts his free hand on my cheek. I lean my head into it. Nick Cage still plays in the background and all is peaceful. Eventually when the movie ends we go to my room. I clean up a bit of the mess and we practically cuddle for the rest of the night.
"I love you John." I say holding him very close to me.
"I love you to Dave" and with that we were both asleep smiling. It was a peaceful rest. Unlike any others I had gotten in awhile and I realize this is what I've been messing my whole life. And I'm glad I had finally found it.

A/N: bleh that was cheesey. Writing this just continues to remind me how lonely I am and how I hug a pillow to get to sleep. Geez, this is my life now I guess and I'm totally fine with it.
