| Warning: Gore |
PART ONE
You could feel the cool, crisp, night air as the wind blew south.
The same air that stung the cuts of the girl running through the wood.
She ran and ran until she could run no more.
Blood was flowing from the gash on her arm, where her wrist was bent at an angle, chunks of skin missing, the bone sticking out.
But she wasn't looking at that, she was looking at the glowing amber eyes.
Wolf eyes.
PART TWO
She started into the eyes of the wolf, remembering how it sunk it's teeth into her wrist, how it tore apart her hand.
She had barely escaped, fleeing deeper into the wood. But no, she had not escaped at all. For she could not outrun a wolf.
As the wolf crept around her, she felt her heart sink. She was going to die.
Even if she managed to escape again she would die. She would be doomed to wander through the woods until she bled out.
She looked around the clearing that would be her death bed.
Then it happened, the wolf leapt.
