12 - Finally Friends

Me and Jungkook were just walking to school then I heard someone call my nickname. "V!"

I looked behind and saw Baekhyun waving his hands so I could see him.

Jungkook stopped walking and turned back to me.

"Jungkook, go to school now, I'll be there in a few." I told him earning a nod and he left.

I walked to Baekhyun. I was still thinking about me and my father's conversation yesterday and I wanna change for good.

"Did you need something?" I asked him because he just stared at me.

"Oh, I-i came by to apologise for being a bad friend. And I'm sorry if I tried to convince you to break up with JK." He said with still a little concern.

"No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I left you and Namjoon for others but I promise that I'll stay on your side and I won't hurt you and Joon hyung." I apologized.

"Wait, you're serious?! Why the change of heart?" He asked with a little excitement in his way of speaking.

"I still badly wanna change but it's hard. I am really desperate to, but I just need a little time and adjustment."

"Maybe I'll try to be a little less dangerous and be friendly? It's a very difficult transition but I would love to try." I continue.

"I'll be here by your side if you need any help. Don't rush, just make it until you're comfortable." He assured.

"Thanks, I'll go now. Jungkook might get mad if I don't come to him at this time." I waved goodbye.

"You know, I can just walk with you to school? We literally are classmates." He said.

"Oh yeah, you're right." I was kinda embarrassed at this point.

We walked to school and as soon as we got there..... Typically, the stares..... This is one of the reasons why I hate being a mean person... It's because people would assume why I was with someone nice.

"Calm yourself. Don't let them affect you." Baek said. I nodded.

"Hyung-- what are you doing with Baekhyun?" Jungkook looked at us like he wasn't approving.

"Kook, I wanna change and in order to do that is make good friends." I casually just said that like it was something easy to say.

"Don't try to debate with me because he's my friend and that won't change." Jungkook was about to talk but stopped.

"Of course, you're important Jungkook so don't be so jealous. And Namjoon hyung will also join us."

"But how can we hang out during breaks?" At this point Jungkook was starting with me.

"Then Baek and Joon will hang out with our group. Easy as that."

"Hyung, you know they can't! They might report us or so! And you never know? Jimin might be friends with them?"

"V, this ain't gonna work out." Baekhyun didn't really like the idea as well as Jungkook.

"Both of y'all, I know you don't like my idea but you guys will just have to do it. You know both of you can't outdo me." I said.

"Namjoon hyung! Come here." Hyung was passing by as I call him.

"What do you want?" He asked.

I explained everything to him and he didn't like the idea as well.

"C'mon guys! I just wanna have many friends." I said desperately with a little sadness in my look making them aw.

"I mean we can be friends if you really want us to be."

"Yeah it's for you anyways."

I knew my acting skill would work.

"Then can we hang out together?!" I asked with amusement in my eyes.

"Fine!" "I guess so." "Okay." The three of them said.

Yes! I'm so good at making people friends.
