Chapter 1

"David!!!", yells his mom Amber Williams. Amber Williams had three other children, two were boys and one was a girl. The girl which was the youngest in elementary, four years old. Her name was Kerry. She makes the a-b honor roll every year and is totally smart. The teacher which is her 1st grade teacher said she should be skipped up to the 2nd grade. But Ms. Amber insisted and said no. She did not want to rush her daughter intellegiance. Kerry was a sweet little girl and had no problems dealing with her except when she wanted things she couldn't get at the time. Then Kerry would cry. Amber had a second to oldest boy named Roger. He was in high school the tenth grade. Roger was making pretty alright grades and had problems with talking in class because of the distractions. Knowing he had a older brother, he love to follow behind his tracks which involves smoking weed and doing drugs. But Roger was never in the streets like his older brother David. Roger was the handsome boy all the girls had they eye on. To tell the truth, Roger wasn't looking for love, he was a true player. He would use girls for money and sex. And dish them. But had hella girls in his contacts. Girls will gossip about him being a male thot, it was one girl that hated him because Roger played her sister and she wanted to get back at him but didn't know how yet. The girl name was Angie. She was related to a bunch of people in a gang or was drug dealers. It was just a thought of hers. She was so pretty she could persuade anyone to do anything. But in the case Roger is 16 years old. The first born child Amber had, the one she struggled with, the one who wasn't raised by a father except a step father which was kerry and Roger father. But he didn't stay long either, he left because he got tied of Amber. They step father was name Jeff Greene. David real father was name David Lowe. Remember David never seen his father and Mr. Lowe wasn't there to see his first new born child be born. Amber found out later that day that he had dish her to the curve and didn't want to be with her no more because he wasn't ready for a baby. They filed a divorce and went separate ways. He never came to see his baby at least and Amber never put Mr. Lowe on child support, so he took advantage. Amber first child David was doing good through elementary and middle school a little. He just had problems with fighting and drugs found on him when he came home and his mom seen it. She would ask and he just don't know what to say. He will get a spanky and tore up from the floor up. He already had stress on him because at the time Roger and kerry had their real dad around but he didn't have his. The first year of high school everything went downhill with David. He started doing drugs, smoking, drinking, gang banging, and drug dealing. By this time David was a blood. A term use to separate from the crips. They was beefing in the streets. Amber became worried about her child. Her man left and she was alone once again. David was out of control. He come home late cussing out his mom and bullying his brother and little sister. Some days he will leave home and wouldn't come back until like two, three days later. Then fussing start between the two again. David got a tattoo on his arm blood gang. The name of the street on his chest where they hang at. One time David was selling drugs and got robbed by two crips with guns. David refused and they beat the hell out of him. He came limping home with a swollen eye and busted lip with leaking nose and blood stains on his shirt. His momma was crying begging him to get out the gang and off the streets because its dangerous. But he refused and fussed at her. They lived in the projects of new orleans where people was getting locked up, shot up, or just up to no good period. At 17 years old David found a girlfriend who loved him for him even when he call her a bitch or hoe when he mad. She just dealt with it because she loves him so much. David dropped out of school in the 11th grade and was 18. He will bring money to his momma to pay the rent or give his little brother and sister. To get this money he will kick down doors to houses and buildings and rob folks. David beat up six people in the rough streets of new orleans, 517 block where David was to be found everyday. It came to a point where everybody on the block knew him and gave him a nickname in the streets big D. He wasn't big at all but would walk through any hood like it wasn't nothing and snap on a another dude for nothing. Only if he felt like it. By now he was the most feared in the streets, his name was ringing everywhere. Right now David still live with his mother and is 19 years old. Got a girl named Rebecca, and is doing nun with his life but illegal stuff. Surprising he aint been to prison yet.  He never been in a church home since with his grandmother which was Amber momma. Her name was Serina Williams. The last time they been was when David was 15. Pastors would try to get David to come to bible study and go to church every Sunday but David insisted. Teachers told David to get his GED but David insisted. David was hard headed and that was a major issue. David just loved being big D instead of being David williams.
