Lucky Collins never considered herself to be lucky. There are many aspects on why she isn't lucky. First, she is not that smart and she always questioned herself on how she managed to survive college. Second, she is shy ( but she secretly wants to be in a Broadway show). And third, she would fall to a wrong guy and would end up heartbroken, again and again. Sounds ironic to think about but it's true, Lucky Collins is not considered to be lucky.
Up until, her friend persuaded her to audition for a role in Bohemian Rhapsody. She did get the role for as Brian May's first love, Janis Harrington but Lucky is the singing voice of the actress portraying because the actress can't sing. It was the start of the chain of luck ( in Jazzy's own words, not Lucky's ) and that was the first step of heading out to the chain of luck. Lucky Collins is definitely going to break the end of having bad luck in her life for sure!
As for Gwilym Lee, he can't help but to be attracted to the shy and awkward girl who hides her sweet voice.
