Today's your first day in Karasuno high as a third year.

"..head..hurts as hell..." you groaned. You're almost late for the entrance ceremony, not that you care so much about it. Staying up all night to finish the manuscript your (useless) editor wanted was slightly worth it, though it caused a lot of pain to you. Damn him for suddenly giving a risky deadline.

Your vision becomes blurry while trudging down the peacful road. Shintaro gave you tons of painkillers and pads when he passed by your apartment earlier. None of them took your pain away.

You can finally see the school gate not far away from you...

The school gate was already closed..

You closed your eyes and let out a frustrated groan. It seems that the entrance ceremony just started when you heard them singing the school hymn.

I'll wait here outside then...

You sat on the ground next to the gate and rested your back on the trunk of a cherry blossom tree.

Slowly, you felt drowsy. It may be because of the side-effects of the painkillers you took earlier, or maybe because of how peacful your surroundings currently are.

rap! It's the first day of school and I'm late! I told Suga and Asahi to come by my house before going to school since mom's not home!

I ran through the silent streets of Miyagi, greeting the people who knows me whenever I pass by them.

"Good morning, Ichinose-san!" I greeted, slowing my pace. He chuckled. "You'll be late Daichi! Hurry up!" I nodded before running once again.

I can finally see the school building! Almost there Daichi! You can't miss this day because you'll get new members!

I stopped dead in my tracks.

"What is she doing here?!" I asked myself, looking at the sleeping girl below the cherry blossom tree. I looked at her and to the gate and back at her.

"She gave up on going in?" I laughed.

Still, I can't let her sleep outside. Especially that she's a girl. Some pervert may take her away or something if I let her be.

I seriously can't let that happen.

I placed my bag down and walked towards her. I hooked my arm under her back and the other under her legs.

.... She's heavy ( no offense :< )
