After I finished my work, I decided to go to sleep since it was almost midnight. I crawled towards my bed like a sloth. Tambak na nga yung trabaho kanina sa office, may pabaon pa si boss.

I lied down and tried to close my eyes, forcing myself to fall asleep when I heard the door opened. I didn't dare to look but I can feel someone's staring at me. I lazily opened my left eye to know who it is.

"Ma, matutulog na ako." I stated.

She just smiled and sat beside me.

"What are your plans for this summer vacation, sweetie?" she asked.

I rolled my eyes, knowing where this conversation leads on.

"I already told you, I wanna spend my summer with Daja mom, please?" I sat down to see her reaction.

She glared at me before she stood up. It's obvious, she didn't like my answer. She turned her back and and started to walk, stomping her feet on the floor.

"You don't want to come with us? You should spend your time with your family, Alisa." she said before going.

"Ma, lagi naman tayong magkasama tuwing vacation. Ngayon lang ako hindi sasama sa inyo. Pabigyan niyo na ako please?" I pleaded.

She heaved a sigh and opened her arms, asking for a hug with a smile.
I ran towards her like a kid. She laughed and gently pat my head. I giggled.

"Fine, pumapayag na ako. Just make sure safe yung pupuntahan niyo." She said before she pulled herself from a hug.

"Ma, I'm old enough" I snorted.

She just smiled before she went outside and closed the door.

"If you ever change your mind sweetie, just tell me!" she shouted.

I pushed myself to bed and fell asleep with a smile plastered on my lips.

"So, kailan mo gusto umalis?" Daja asked me over the phone after I told her na pumayag na si mommy na we can have the vacation together.

"Week after next, I think." I answered while writing the last chapter of my latest story I've been writing for almost 5 months.

"Okay, ako na bahala kung saan tayo pupunta. I gotta go na pala. I need to buy new dresses and swimsuits pa!" she sound so excited.

"Whatever." I can't help but to roll my eyes. Dagat nanaman. Kakapunta lang namin nila mommy last time sa boracay. I ended up the call.

Tinuon ko na lamang ang atensyon ko sa sinusulat ko. I've always been a fan of happy endings, ending na hindi mo matatamo in real life. It only exists in fiction. That's why I wanna give my characters a happy ending.

I smiled after I published the the epilogue of my story. Finally! Wala na akong iisipin. Maeenjoy ko na ang summer vacation.

Days had been passed at dumating na nga ang pinaka hihintay kong araw. Makakapag pahinga na rin kahit sandali.

I started packing up things for our most awaited trip. I just picked some random clothes. I'm not really a fashionista, anything will do for me.

I fished out my phone from my pocket when it vibrated. I saw Daja's chat on notification bar.

UrDaja: Hoy punta ka na dito.

YnaMartin: Teka lang po Boss, OTW na.

UrDaja: Bilisan mo.

I bit my lower lip to suppressed my smirk. Ayos tong babae na to ah. Demanding.
