wrong choice

Chapter 1.

You know this person that has always been there with you when you go through your ups and down. That person that buys you a bucket that's filled with chocolate and a big teddy bear to cheer you up, the friend that  you play invisible rope game with and that person that doesn't let you do stupid things alone...well that person is my best friend his name is Ralphael Twain. We met at a halloween  party  ,we were playing  truth or dare  and  his was dared to kiss me . We went in the closet and as he was moving closer to kiss me , i sneezed directly at his face. Since then people started calling me," the sinus girl" :-(   until one day i missed school,my mum agreed to it .  " Paige!" i heard my mum call from downstairs but  I was buried deep in the series, "prison break" and i just ignored her."Paige!!" She called again."coming!" i yelled back. I tried to finish up that episode until i heard mum call out my name AGAIN "Paigey!" "am coming!!" i yelled as I walked down the stairs .

Ralphael was sitting on the couch , dressed in a black north face jacket and beach shorts , his hair was  dark brown , neatly shaved on the sides and cute  maintained curls covering half of his forehead . "Ralphael ? What are you doing in my house ?" :-| I narrowed my eyes at him "oh! Hey Paige, nice home you've got here ." he said while checking the chandelier ." Would you just say what you want or leave!" i said as i rolled my eyes ."Hey, no need to be feisty ,i came here to tell you that i don't care about what people say in school, I like you the way are and i solved the issue ,nobody will ever call you that name again." He said as he looked direct at me and I gazed into his hazel brown eyes."Why would  you do that  ?"  " because i want  a second chance, i want to be your friend so.......friends ? "he suggested as he offered his hand to me confidently . I looked at his hand then looked back at his eyes ,"Friends"I agreed and  we then shook  hands .He held my hand tight and pulled me into a tight hug and that was the beginning of an amazing friendship

                                                               LATER THAT DAY.

My whole family was in the dining room . We weren't really a big family , it was just my mom, dad,my older sister Luna  ,my younger sister Sage and me.  Mum cooked pasta and stuffed chicken and some vegetables. We prayed for the meal and by we I meant Sage ."So how was your day girls ?"daddy asked trying to make conversation ." good !"Sage said,"great!" i said .Luna remained silent and my mum was agitated "what about you Luna?" mum finally popped but Luna didn't answer her. Mum's cheeks became a light shade of red because of how  angry she was. here we go again !  "Whats wrong with you LUNA! you're so moody and you have an  attitude towards  me and your father . You like pretending to be sick saying that your joints are aching and that you feel week, why are you so complicating and....." "ENOUGH ! Mum that's enough,can we just have one dinner that doesn't involve  you complaining ,lets have a peaceful dinner for once ! just once "  I interrupted and silence filled the room until Sage broke it by saying,"mummy i joined the cheer leading club." and dad excused himself , saying that he had work to do,Mum just woke up and followed dad leaving  Sage waiting for a congratulation from her. Luna looked like she was about to cry and Sage looked as if she was broken"Sage am sure mum's happy for you but she's just busy right know , but that's  a good thing ,you know i too was in the  cheer leading squad when I  was your age ." I proudly said and that brightened Sage's gloomy face . When i turned to cheer Luna  up ,she bursted into tears , ran off to her room and locked herself in .  " Luna! " I called out to her  "is Luna okay? " Sage asked with a low tone." she's okay . This is Luna we are talking about. Now come lets go brush your teeth then you go to bed I'll tuck you in  and read you your favourite  book."i said and we went and i put Sage to bed.

I went to Luna's room and knocked "go away!"Luna said "hey  Luna its me PG!" she didn't answer until i heard the door open ."Are you okay?" i asked."yeah i just need some air .""lets go to the balcony." i suggested . We went to the balcony and remained silent enjoying the silent ,peaceful night "P,I want you to take care of dad and sage okay?" Luna broke the silence as her voice sounded like she was about to cry."I'm not getting you Luna ! you're going to be here, we will do it together ,right? " I said with fear. My whole body was trembling ."just promise me?" Luna said as she held my hands with pleading eyes ." I will but why would you say that ?" "get me orange juice "Luna requested all of a sudden , interrupting my interrogation. I stared at her for a century before i finally went down stairs to get the orange juice and I took some for myself too . I went back up to Luna's room and proceeded to the balcony were i left her but i didn't see her there, i went to her toilet but there wasn't any sign of her there too. I looked for her everywhere "Luna ! Were are you ?". I called out. Were was she ? i started panicking . Suddenly I heard the dogs bark outside and i went  to the balcony to look at what was going on down there and I saw the dogs surround a  silhouette. I took  my phone out and turned on my flashlight and directly pointed down where the dogs were and saw Luna's body. I  dropped the glasses that were on my hand and screamt . I ran into my parents room and shouted ,"Mum ! Dad! Luna is.......she's D...D-DEAD!' my parents ran out of their room and went into Luna's room "Were is she?!"mum asked with a trembling voice. She was beyond panic "she's down there.......she  jumped over the balcony" I said and my mother instantly started crying"lord no....no...MY BABY! No, she's not dead ! Ezra call the ambulance. Hurry my baby's dying ! " she said as she turned to ran outside , to Luna's body "BREA!!"dad called out "Brea stop.......just stop . Lu......Luna's dead and we both know it" Dad said as he held mum's hands."No! she's not....my baby.......this is all my fault! "she said as she cried even more she knocked dad's  broad chest as she blamed herself for Luna's death. Finally she laid her head  on the same chest that she was hitting earlier ."i don't know what to do !"Mum honestly said as tears ran down her cheeks and dad tried comforting her, "It's okay Brea don't blame yourself , you have to be strong , lets just call an ambulance . We'll know what to do later ."My mum nodded as she wiped the tears from her olive skin. My dad called the ambulance as soon as my mom was calm.The ambulance arrived and they took Luna away . We  glance at my bloody , broken and pale sister who was once strong and beautiful   .Sage was strong though you could see that she wanted to cry.I was just in shock , i couldn't believe that my role model , my big sister could kill herself . She wasn't suicidal but why did she kill herself ? i didn't even cry ,i was just super traumatized . We watched the ambulance  drive away as  our dad held as tightly and hugged us . I felt so broken and I knew that i would never be the same and everything changed since that day.
