RUBY STUNT- Aleena Agnes Sparrow

"Ruby I've got a surprise for you." I said . She came running to me." Close, your eyes sniff a bit. For my Ruby, a ruby stunt for Christmas." I saw happiness filling her cheeks. I put her ruby stunt on her ear. Oh! What a beauty she is.

Well, Ruby is my pet. She is three years old. She is as white as snow. When she laughs, it's like a snowball laughing. Her red ribbon suits her lot and now her red and beautiful Ruby stunt.

The next day, I took her to our meeting place-a place where my friends and I meet. Well, I almost forgot, I have three friends Jeana, Carolene and Annley.

Jeana is a very talkative type person. She is as well as good in studies. Her spectacles, her brown curly hair and her brown eyes suites her a lot. The thing, which is so bad about her, is that she makes people bored by talking nonsense. You know, a funny thing, one day our physics teacher asked her to tell her the answer for the question, what is the other name for new moon, she started saying a long history which made the teacher petrified!!

Carolene is a bit too sensitive, that's why our classmates call her 'sensey baby'. She hates it. She is plumpy and is so... beautiful. Except for her sensitive behavior, she is perfect. Jeana always ends her conversation mocking Carolene and it's a big duty for me and Annley to calm her up.

And to conclude, Annley is so very silent, which makes her the hated one of the class. No one likes to talk to her. Well, she is a dreamy type girl, likes food and is so picky that she only wears jeans and tops. I have never seen her wearing a frock. Just to show her character, I'm saying this incident. One day, our art teacher was explaining Chinese art; suddenly some strange noises filled the class. It sounded like "Chi, Cho, Chou, Chow." When mam scanned the class, Annley was dancing in her dream. "Annley, stop that." Mam ordered. Who cares? She didn't stop. Mam threw her marker on her, but it was of no use, she didn't stop. Me ,Jeana and Carolene shot quick glances. Then asking mam's permission and I went to the canteen. I bought a packet of French fries and ran to the class. I took it towards Annley. The moment she got that smell, she came back to normal.

"Woo... she is sooo cute, cuter than you Carolene." said Jeana teasing Carolene. "No I'm cuter, but she is cute. Don't distinguish me with her." She shouted and started crying. "It's OK, Carolene, she didn't say to hurt you. Come on" Annley said trying to calm her. "Yeah, I didn't sensey baby, ha," Jeana said and laughed. "See, Now. She knows I hate that name" Carolene said and started crying more loudly. "Jeana, stop this, do you guys want to fight everyday. Caroline look at Ruby, she is also trying to console you" I said.  

But when she looked at Ruby, Ruby was playing with a ball, with out knowing what is happening. Which made Carolene to cry even more loudly. Annley and I looked at each other and went to Carolene again.  

"Guys, I think we'll have a cycle race." Annley said cheering up others. "Hey, that's cool guys," Carolene said suddenly brightening. 

All of us reached the starting point. We began the race. Carolene got to the finishing point first, followed by Annley, me and at last Jeana, which made Carolene so happy. "Guys, I think we are running out of the time. It's nearly dark. It's better I go home. Bye!" said Annley. "Annley wait we'll also separate and meet you guys tomorrow." I said and we departed.

The next day, Ruby came running to me. She was so sad. "What happened Ruby?" I asked her. "Ow, ow, ow, ow" she replied. I know she is just three, so she does not get words. When I looked over her I saw something is missing!! Yes the ruby stunt! That's what made her upset.  

"Don't worry Ruby. I promise, I'll find it for you.'' I said relaxing her.

It was 24th December so our school was closed. We had to go to church this evening so we thought to come to our meeting place in the morning. So I went there and asked my friends about the stunt.  

Carolene "I haven't seen it after you left me."  

Jeana "Don't worry Aleena we'll try to find it except Carolene. She is a sensy baby so she'll start crying immediately when we are at the tip to solve it".  

Carolene "Hey you. Who are you? Hearing your blabbering, that stunt would run away from you." She said who was so ferocious.  

Aleena "Stop, don't get into more problems. And thanks for your kind words-'' before I could finish carolene interrupted me and said - 

"Sensy baby is a kind word? You also started teasing me", "Sorry, Carolene I didn't meant to say-" I said, but she didn't allow me to finish, "You meant to say it was even more kinder" Said Carolene. "No thanks, I don't want you guys in trouble. Is that satisfied? I'll do it on my own" said I. Carolene was happy because I denied Jeana's request and said ''I suspect Ela, she is the only one who lurks in our meeting place.'' ''Don't suspect a person without having enough evidence. If Ela is not the one?'' asked Annley. ''But Annley, if she is? I think I will follow her tonight. Let me see, if I can solve this case of stolen stunt!'' I said.  

After some time of discussion I heard someone fall from the tree nearby us. We looked behind and saw Ela running. 

''Yes! I told you Annley, she is behind all these things'' said Carolene. ''Hmm... After going to church, I'll follow her. She is coming in our church, so it's easy'' I said. ''We'll depart now, I have some work to do'' said Jeana. 

We departed. When I reached home, I went to my closet and picked a perfect black gown. Sure it's warm and perfect one for spying.

OH! Sorry. I almost forgot to introduce Ela. Ela is not our friend. She is a kind of our enemy. She always fights with us. Not only Ela, Elba, her twin sister also fights with us. They wear same dress, has same haircut and are same in behavior. We distinguish them by their voice and facial expression. If Ela is embarrassed or tensed, she move away from the public. But Elba stands where she is even if she is embarrassed also.

I kept the gown in my kit and got ready for going to church. 

I found Ela sitting in front of me in the church. She wore red dazzling frock and her hair was left open. Elba was also in the same dress and style.  

After all the ceremony's, she went outside. I told my mother I'll come directly to home and then went out, took the black gown outside from the kit and were it over my violet ang white frock. I followed her to her hostel and to her room, where Elba her twin sister, started talking to her. After some time, someone among them went inside their room. Thinking that it is Ela in front of me, I followed her. She walked outside the hostel and into a maze, which had suddenly appeared. I walked in, but as soon as I entered Ela vanished from my sight. The maze was a little tricky, with long walls of grass and so many hidden paths. I could only see greenery and the beautiful night sky which was above me. I thought I could find some clue about my Ruby's stunt. So I started to walk through the maze. Suddenly, I heard a noise ''ow.ow.ow...''. ''It surely sounds like Ruby. I have to find her'' I said to myself and started to follow the sound. After some twists and turns, I saw Ruby sitting. She was crying. ''Ruby, don't worry. I'm here, don't be scared'' I said but she didn't stop crying. I went around her and noticed a tape recorder at the back. I understood that it was just a picture of Ruby. Someone came from top. It was Elba! ''So you were the one who lurked in our meeting place and stole the ruby stunt'' I said teasing her. ''You bet , I didn't. I told Ela to do it for me. I heard your conversation with your creepy friends. So I lead you here. Bye forever, and thanks for the ruby stunt. Merry Christmas'' Elba said and pressed a remote. She went away and rocks blocked my way out. I just had a recorder , Ruby's picture, the grass blocks and big rocks facing me. What will I do? 

                                                         I REALISED, I WAS TRAPED!
