You know those mini games that sometimes appear? They play a great part in the storyline of FNAF. In one mini game, you take the role of Freddy, handing cake to children. Above the building, you see a crying child. A car comes up, and a man comes out, and MURDERS the child. In theory, the child had inhabited the marionette. The guy on the phone commented that he doesn't like the marionette because it "thinks". The murderer has also murdered four other children. In another mini game, you place dead children inside the animatronics. The marionette is the technical giver of life to the old animatronics.
