AN: Point of view is the first person from Mario's POV. This was just the way I decided to write it.
My story began the day I died. Or well, I should say the second time I died. Yes, you're hearing me correctly. I said the second time I died. You see, for some reason, when I die, I don't stay dead. When I die, I end up in a room with an angel speaking to me, telling me that I can't move on to the next life. Instead, I get sent back to a random location near where I had died.
The first time I died, no one had really been around to see me die, at least that I knew about. I had fallen off a cliff near a waterfall while my brothers and I had been on a nature hike. On the way down, I hit several rocks and blacked out, meeting one of the angels for the first time. I was very confused but nothing was really explained to me. Instead, I woke up sitting on the edge of the water at the foot of the waterfall. It wasn't long before my brothers had scrambled down to check on me, asking if I was alright. They didn't realize I had died... and I didn't tell them.
I didn't tell anyone. Not even my boyfriend. I thought maybe I had hallucinated what I had seen or something. Like that doesn't just happen you know.
Then came the second time.
My boyfriend and I had been driving home from a date when a car came swerving out of nowhere. Neither of us even had a chance to react as it plowed into our car. I felt my vision go dark and then I was met with the same angel as before. And then once again, I was sent back to life.
As I woke up, I found that I was sitting on the side of the road, well further down the road we had been driving on. Upon realizing that it was no coincidence that that could've happened twice and that it hadn't been a dream this time, I shot up, more concerned for my boyfriend than anything else. What if the accident had killed him? My mind ran wild with what could've possibly happened to him.
Yet, before I could move two feet, I was suddenly surrounded by a group of people in body armor, the letters: SCP embroidered on the uniform. I was taken into their custody before I could even say two words. They put me in cuffs and led me to a van. My only thought as I was sat down in the van was: What the heck is going on?
I didn't have an answer.
