Another Chance

2. Catch up

After the meeting, Sarada wanted to catch up with Boruto. "Boruto!" She called him, he looked at her, in response. "I was wondering if you would like to catch up?" Sarada asked, she wasn't the type of person who could be straight forward with her feelings, it took courage. "Sure" Boruto replied with the same smile that Sarada fell in love with.

They went for a walk around the village, talking about anything. "How was your training?" Sarada asked with curiosity, "It was great, I finally understand my karma seal, I can now use it at will." Boruto replied, "How about you, how was your training with dad?" He asked. He was glad that his old man trained her not only in combat and being a ninja, but also preparing her to become a hokage. Everyone knew that Sarada would make a great hokage in the future. "It was good, I also trained with Mama." She replied. They were walking peacefully until someone interrupted them, "Hello, my sun" Mitsuki said in a calm voice, not showing his excitement in seeing his sun. "Long time, no see, Mitsuki" Boruto greeted him with a loud voice, "When did you get back?" Mitsuki asked, "Just this morning" he answered, "Hey, we should catch up together, as Team 7!" Sarada asked them "Why not?"

They were walking to Lightning Burger, since they were hungry. They entered and order 3 burgers, and took a seat at one table, they were talking and having fun, it was good that they were still as happy together. Just as they were about to leave, they ran into Shikadai and Inojin. "Boruto!" They said in unison. They were shocked that their best friend had already came back home. "Oh, hello Shikadai and Inojin" Boruto answered back "Wow, you're already home." Inojin said, "So where are the others?" Boruto asked, wanting to meet them after a long time. "They were busy, so it's just us two" Shikadai answered. "What if we go out tommorow, with all of them, we can maybe catch up and train with each other" Inojin proposed the idea, everyone liked it, of course Shikadai thinking that it's such a drag. "Sure, meet you there by 9:00" Boruto said, as they were leaving "I gotta go" Mitsuki said as he vanished, the two had already forgotten that Mitsuki was still with them. They walked around Konoha, to chat more. "I need to go, it's getting late" Sarada said. She didn't want to get scolded for going home late. "Sure, I'll walk you home" Boruto said while Sarada blushed a little due to the gesture. He wanted to make sure she was safe, but also to have more time with the girl. He felt more lively and complete whenever she is around. He didn't know what he was feeling. All he knew was he wanted to be with her everytime, everyday.
