"Finally!! It's fully charged!!" Kasumi gasped as she held up her silver headgear. It may be one of the older models but she had finally saved up enough money to get one of her own! She puts the console over her unkempt hair, the sight of her room turned pitched black. Pushing the button in the middle of her forehead, turning the console on and laying down. "Time to try out the new game, Exia!! Now then!" She exclaimed, licking the corners of her lips. "Hey! Kasumi! Keep it down! you're going to wake the neighbors up." Her mother called, knocking several times on her door. "Sorry, sorry. i was a little too excited over the thought of this new game, hehe... I'll try to keep it down." Kasumi replied, shifting her attention back to the game. "Game Start!" She muttered double tapping the button, relaxing her body and letting the game take over her senses as she is transported into Exia.
The next moment her eyes opened, it seemed as if she was brought into another world. "Is this the starting screen?" Kasumi muttered looking around. "Cuz don't they usually start you off at a village?" The place she stood, was blue all around, it reminded her a lot of the oceans and skies in animes she's seen in the past. It spread as far as her eyes could see. "What am i supposed to here?" She mumbled to herself before her eyes caught sight of a purple object floating in the air. She instinctively turned towards it, looking closer, she noticed it was a purple egg with yellow spots. Looking similar an easter egg. "An egg?" she muttered, getting a little excited. " I've never seen an egg this big before, nor of this color!" she gasped jogging over to it. "I wonder what could be inside it! Oh its so excitingg!!" As she approached it, she noticed that it was about the size of her torso, a huge egg, even when compared with an ostrich's. Her eyes sparkled a little, reaching out in anticipation. As the palm of her hand touched the round surface of the egg, it fell.
As if losing the magic that was holding it up, it fell onto the floor with a crack, Kasumi winced at the sound, her eyes shut unconsciously and her hands covered her ears in a swift moment of surprise. After a moment, she peered warily at the egg, now sitting on the presumed floor, bits of its shell shattered around it's main body. "uh-oh..." She muttered bending to pick the egg back up. As she did so, the shell on the egg vaporised, a tiny pastel dragon flew straight at her face. "Wuaah!" Kasumi exclaims, falling back. "what the-" She mumbled staring that the chibi dragon who had jumped at her. The dragon, gave a smile, "Hello, and welcome to the world of Exia!" it proclaims. "I'm sorry for the jump scare" it mumbles, "Let me introduce myself. My name is Watt. The official mascot of the game, i am here to welcome new players and to help them with their character design, names and class!" "hmm..." Kasumi hums, getting onto her feet."It's alright, i was the one who broke the egg anyways." With a humble nod, Watt flaps its tiny wings over to Kasumi's face being only inches away. "What would you like to be known as in the game of Exia?" Watt asks flying back as a screen appeared where it was just seconds ago. "hm... it wouldn't be good to use my real name, so how bout Kuroro instead? Thats the name i always use for gaming." she told the chibi dragon with a smirk, her arm on her hip. "Very well, the avatar's name will be set to Kuroro." It mumbled. its green eyes turning blue as data seemed to run through them. "Proceeding, how would you like to design your character?" it asked flying to Kasumi's side as a mirror rose from the ground, reflecting her real life appearence.
"How does this thing work?" Kasumi asked turning over to the chibi dragon who has landed itself comfortably on her shoulders. "Think of the image that you would like your avatar to look like. I am able to that that data that is in your mind to turn your thoughts into reality." It mutters. "oh! kay." she replies lazily, thinking up the image she wanted for her avatar. She frowned, looking at the sky, as she folded her arms. "Hmmm," she hummed tapping her feet. "Well, lets first select a race!, Of course i'd love to be a beastmen. The class would have to be, Tamer!" She says aloud, a smile now plastered onto her face. with blue hair! i'd also love to have an accessory on my hair! Something like a flower pin or clip!" she calls out as the mirror glowed dimly, changing her appearence into that she has wished. "Not like i imagined... but shes pretty! Yosh! Lets hop onto the game!" she yells throwing her fist up, unable to contain her excitement any longer. She glanced at the chibi dragon, as it did a little bow, "We wish you may have the best experience in Exia" its voice replacing that of a young child to that of a robot's. The mirror moved forward, fazing past Kuroro, turning her appearance to the one she had thought of.
Her surroundings turning white, the before she knew it, she was in town, NPCs shuffling past her, going about their daily lives. "lets open our inventory to check what we start off with." she mumbled, her inventory opened with her thoughts. "hm.. i've got a book, a rookie sword and chest piece and 3000 xi coins, which im guessing is the currency used in this game. I see, let's go explore town first then!"
