"Destiny?!" Hayes knocked on my door, calling my name.
"Come in" I clasped my necklace around my neck and turned to face hates.
"Can I borrow 20 bucks?" he clasped his hands together and shook them pleading
"what for?" i asked annoyance lacing my voice
"I owe a kid" he looked away and i knew he was lying
"no way, you'll never pay me back" i crosses my arms over my chest and shifted my weight to one foot. Hayes entered my room more and got more desperate.
"come on, you have a lot of money just lend me 20"
"no, Hayes. you're lying through your teeth! what do you really need money for?" I asked and he rolled his eyes
"none of your business!" he said with too much attitude
"fuck off Hayes, your so annoying" i snapped and started pushing him towards my door
"15?" He asked
"NO!" I screamed pushing him out of my room and shutting the door
"are you almost ready to go?" He asked through the door
"Give me two fuckin' minutes, Hayes. I woke up five seconds ago" I said grabbing my backpack.
"no wonder you're so damn cranky!" he scoffed. I opened my door to Hayes scolding me with his arms crossed.
"Don't look at me like that" I said pushing his face to the side as I walked past him. I love my little brother but when he pisses me off.. he really pisses me off.
"Alright come on, you kids will be late" mom said. we all left; Skylynn is struggling to keep up as she runs behind us.
"Bye mom"
me and Hayes went to school in my car and Skylynn and mom left in her car. Hayes rides with me because the middle and high school are in one huge 3 story building
I parked then got out of the car quickly, trying to catch up with Mel, my best guy friend.
"MEL" I screamed running. He turned around and smirked at me. "What's up dirty desti?" We did 2 fist bumps then a high five, that's our handshake.
"Nothing, Hayes is DRIVING ME CRAZY" I said loud so Hayes could hear, he's walking behind us.
"what's he doin?" Mel asked and I turned to where he was looking. Hayes isn't walking behind us anymore, he's leaned against a car with some girl, swallowing her face. gross.
I didn't know her, which is weird because I know everyone. She must be new. I called him. He looked up at me with a 'wtf' face and answered the call.
