Secrets(Bubbles P.O.V)

When I woke up yesterday after the incident I automatically figured out that The chemical X gave me powers. I went downstairs and wanted a Cigarette really bad. I never even really smoke, but for some reason I wanted one. But my Aunt Susan took away my lighter and my Cigarettes when she found out I was smoking 3months ago, and I haven't had one since, But for some reason I really wanted one. I stole one from my Aunt Susan's room but still didn't have a lighter. My aunt took the one out of my car, and The oven didn't work very well. So  I was staring at the end of my cigarette and was wishing it would just burn, and Next thing I knew, A little red dot formed in the center of my eye while I was looking at the cigarette and Lasers shot out of my eyes.

And as for figuring out I could fly, what kind of person gets super powers and doesn't expect that she can fly. So I went into my backyard and got on the trampoline and was jumping and trying to get an apple from the tree, and finally after wishing I could fly, I didn't go back to the ground, but flied all the way up into the tree and grabbed the apple. Then I spent the rest of the day flying around my house. I didn't tell my Aunt Susan, and she wasn't home to figure it out. She wouldn't even have noticed if I was when she was home. She's got gray hair that sticks out all over the place and she has glasses that makes her eyes really big. She took me in when my parents died as a little girl.

But today when I get to school I didn't think Jessica or Mindy had these powers, well I was thinking maybe Mindy because she was looking at me and Jessica Nervously like she was trying to figured out if we had it. Jessica just had a mean look on her face, I was hoping she didn't even have them at all, But if it comes down to it I would just Ask Mindy to join my side and help me destroy it, because there is no way that she is joining any group that I am in.

Me and Jessica ended up getting into a fight and She froze water that I went to pour on her, her face was so surprised I knew she had just figured it out.

I asked Professor what was going on. He explained that he seen this only once before with 3 girls. They got superpowers just like us, but they ended up going missing with 3 other boys.

"They called it the Townsville 6," He explains.

"My Parents went missing in that," Said Mindy.

"Mine too!," Squeaked Jessica.

Then with the drop of my jaw in a slight whisper I shouted in my head, but it only came out silently, "Mine too."

"So this same thing happened to all of our parents?" Jessica asks. "A Coincidence?"

"No, no coincidence." Professor Utonium says. "The Chemical X has different effects on different people. They get 3 eyeballs, they die, they get burned, or they can shrink or enlarge. But other..They get super powers."

"So what if we would've died?" I say, "You could've killed us.

"No, I told you guys not to mess with it, I put you all in the same group because I know something like that would've happened. You guys thought it was water because that's your guys's smell and taste of it. Others think it smells like cough syrup or Alcohol."

"This is Bull-S" Jessica started to say, but Mindy put her hand in front of her mouth and interrupted her. "What was our parents's names?" She asks, "My foster mom never told me.

A half smile shows up on his face, but his eyes look kind of sad, "I don't remember them by their real names, just by their superhero names," He pats her on the shoulder, "Sorry."

"Superhero names?" Says Jessica, "They had superhero names?"

"Well yes, doesn't every hero with superpowers have superhero names?" He laughs.

"What were they?" I ask.

"Well Cat, your mom's was Smiley." He says. "And Jessica's was Smokey, And Mindy your moms name was Sweetie."

"Why all the S's?" Said Jessica.

"I dont know, they just all wanted their names to be of the same letter I guess." Said The Professor.

"Well, what about our names?" Said Mindy, "We should have superhero names too."

"Let's have them all start with J," Said Jessica, "I'll be Jessica."

"Or we can have them start with...w?" I say.

"Oh, you can be wiener, I can be Wonderful, and Mindy, she can be...Weirdo." Jessica Laughs.

"Now girls, please, you need something Appropriate, and happy, Like your mothers.

"My foster mom Calls me Buttercup," Says Mindy, "That's what I wanna be."

I think about how everyone says Im bubbly and cute. "Fine then, I'm bubbles," I smile.

"Should've been Blue Barbie. But Alright then, B. Ill be The Best," she giggles. "Perfect,"

"Jessica, Get real," I say.

"Fine," She says, Thinking.

"You could be barbie," I smile.

She makes a fake laugh, "You're soo funny." She scratches her head and makes a thinking face. "Bloom?"

We all shake our heads no, Even the professor. "Baby?" She says. "Or maybe Blaze?"

"How about Blossom?" Says Mindy.

I think that's better than any of the ones she has picked, but she doesn't look satisfied.

"How about it?" I say, "It's Cooler than any of the other ones.

"Fine," Says Jessica.

"Blossom, Bubbles, And Buttercup." Says The Professor. It actually sounds good. It has a little ring to it, Even Mindy smiles at the name. "Are you guys going to take your Mothers's Superhero group name?"

We all nod at the same time.

"Alright then, I'll be your guy's mentor, I helped your mothers out, and now it's time to help you out."

"Sweet," Says Jessica. Or should I say Blossom. It actually kind of fits her, Blossoms are a flower, That's what she thinks she is, that's what she tries to smell like, and some of them are the color pink. So why not? And I am blue like a bubble. And Buttercups are yellow, so I guess Mindy can somehow have a yellow outfit. Or black and yellow like a bumblebee.

"Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup," He says, "The power puff girls,"

We all smile, for some reason I feel like maybe all of us hating each-other could somehow work out with us being all the same. The way Jessica's looking I feel like she's thinking the same thing. She even makes eye contact with me and half smiles. Mindy's eyes are just far away looking at the Professor. I think she just want's to figure out where her parents are. I admit that I've thought about it, But they've been gone forever and there's nothing I can really do about it. But I guess Me and Jessica are all she has. And I'll help her find them.
