Chapter 30

Hayes's P.O.V

Lillian is amazing, I know I only met her a couple hours ago but I feel like I've known her longer. She seems really down to earth which is a nice change from the girls I usually meet.

I've been friends with Matthew for a while now and have never met his sister. I knew he had one but he doesn't talk about her much. I wonder why.

I really hope she stays for a while because I want to get to know her. Her brother does the same thing I do so she's not a crazy fangirl.

There was that guy she talked about who almost kissed her. If he likes Lillian I don't want to get in the way. But Lillian lives here now and from the sounds of it he's had his chance.

All through dinner everybody was asking Lillian a bunch of questions and I could tell by her short answers that she doesn't like to talk.

"So how's school going for you?"

"Good." she answers.

"What's your favorite color?"

"Blue I guess."

"What about favorite food?"

"Um,"

"I think you guys have asked her enough questions." I finally say.

"What's your problem Hayes?" Nash asks.

"You're my problem." I snap.

"Okay everybody calm down." Matthew says calmly. "We should get some sleep remember we're having breakfast with the girls tomorrow. Lilly I can't wait for you to meet my girlfriend."

"You have a girlfriend?" Lillian questions. "Since when?"

"Well I had been coming to L.A. every once in a while, you know for some photo shoots and magcon and to film some things, and I met her. Now that I'm actually living here we decided to date. You'll love her."

Lillian's P.O.V

Matt, Nash, Cam, and Carter take their plates into the kitchen and head to their rooms. I stand up and grab my plate but Hayes takes it from me.

"Don't worry I got it babe." He smiles at me. Oh god why did he call me that. Does he like me?

No, of course he doesn't. Do you know how many girls throw themselves at him? You think out of all the girls he can have he'd chose you? Wrong. You're nothing.

"Hey, you okay?" Hayes stares at me.

"Oh. Yeah I'm fine." I take I deep breath. I need to calm down.

"Are you sure?"

"Can we just go to sleep?" I get up fr the table and go to our room. After a while Hayes joins me.

Hayes grabs a blanket and a pillow from the bed and lays them on the floor.

"What are you doing?" I ask him.

"What does it look like? I'm gonna sleep on the floor." He continues to set up.

"Why?"

"I don't think your brother wants us sleeping in the same bed."

"It's okay I can sleep on the floor it was your bed first."

"No Lillian I'm not gonna make you sleep on the floor. Put your pajamas on and get in that bed." he smiles at me.

"You can sleep with me if you want." I say.

"Can I?" Hayes smirks and raises his eyebrows.

"I didn't mean it like that." I blush. "Um could you..."

"Don't worry I won't look." He covers his eyes with his hands and turns around. "Go ahead and change."

I quickly change and climb into bed. "Okay you can open your eyes." I tell Hayes. He shuts off the light and lays down on the floor.

We lay in silence for a while then Hayes asks, "Lillly- can I call you that?"

"Sure."

"Okay Lilly, do you like me?"

What's that suppose to mean. "Well I just met you so..." I trail off.

"Okay let me rephrase that do you think I'm attractive?"

"I don't know." I blush. He is kind of cute.

"I'll take that as a yes. You're pretty cute yourself. Goodnight Lillian."

I turn over so in facing the other way and fall asleep.
