California, Los AngelesOfficer Daniel Ramirez:
It's already been five whole days since Morgan's been missing. Or I should say since Morgan's runaway. I still have yet to get back lab results on the dried blood that was in her picture. Amy had confirmed that it was blood last night. The picture however came up blank, no fingerprints besides my own. Not even Morgan's. After receiving all that information I wasn't in the mood for dinner. Or anything really. I took a rain check on Amy's and I's dinner. She looked upset but she understood. Or at least that's what she told me. It surprised me that she didn't ask any questions about what I was doing. I suspect that's because she's had a major crush on me since I've joined the force. Not that I mind, it was nice getting some female attention. That's beyond the point though. My mind was so clouded with information I couldn't sleep. I tossed and turned all night.

*Bzzt*My phone vibrates, alerting me to an incoming call. Checking the caller ID, I perk up.
"Hello Lieutenant !" I quickly answered.
"Morning Officer. With some reviewing I've decided you can be put back on Morgan Brookes case. Although at any sign of unprofessionalism you will be taken off. Do not let me down Officer. You now have access to everything. Stay at home and in contact." He curtly replies before hanging up. I smile widely. Finally some good news. I carefully but quickly get out of bed, rushing to my computer. Basically throwing myself in front of it I log in, quickly accessing Morgan's file. Reading through it nothing stands out. Her family had no idea, and neither did her friends. Except there was one friend, Emely Valasquez who was marked 'did not comply'. I quickly looked for a pen and paper, writing down her number and home address. I also mentally noted that after doing family and friend interviews they basically stopped looking.

*Bzzt*Once again my attention is thrown back to my phone. I quickly pick up.
"Hello" I say, waiting for Amy to give me the results.
"Hey Daniel. So the blood tests came back, and it's weird. The sample is linked to Violet Williams... and the blood is slightly aged. So it must have been taken before she died..." She trailed off, sounding confused.
"Violet Williams?" I ask again, making sure I heard it right.
"What do you know about sex trafficking and blood samples?" I asked Amy, wondering if maybe there was a connection.
"If I'm honest, not much. Sex traffickers usually don't keep samples of the victims blood. Oh! But you know how some murderers do, maybe it's like that? Maybe they want some documentation of their victim before disregarding them? I'm not sure. Daniel, what are you doing with this stuff?" Amy eventually asks. Making me ponder my answer.
"Hmm, I think you're getting somewhere... and please keep this between us, I'll tell you when I get more information, I promise" I say, hoping she'll believe me.
"Alright, I trust you. In the meantime did you want me to bag this as evidence?"
"Yes please, and please keep it somewhere hidden" I hang up, leaving me to all the questions in my head. Thinking back to the Cassini brothers and Violet I still need proof of correlation.
"Hmm. Landan said they stole the cash and the security footage. So there was no video tape of what happened that day at all. What about surrounding buildings? Yeah! There's a bunch of small convenience stores surrounding that area. I'm sure some of them have cameras that could have caught something." I talk to myself, organizing a plan. With new found hope I get up, walking into my room to get dressed. It was about time I got off my ass and started to do something. Before pulling on a pair of jeans I notice my bandage turned a faded white. The blood stain was no longer red but a black.
