Mollie and Daniel are secretly dating for more then six months now. Why is their romance a secret? Because Daniel is the football star of their school and Mollie isn't in the popular ones. She dosen't wear sluty clothes and doesn't cover her face with make up. She is not in the cheerleaders. Mollie is herself and she doesn't pretend to be someone else. They always have to hide when they want to spend some time together, like at the library or during classes, while everyone is stuck in class. At the beginning, Mollie really liked the feeling of adventure and risk they were taking to see eachothers, but after six months of getting ignored by her "boyfriend" whenever his friends are around is enough.
"Daniel.. we need to talk." She said while he was passionately kissing her neck in the girls toilet of the third floor.
"What?" Mollie sighed at him and pushed him off of her.
"I don't want to hide anymore. I can't take it anymore. If you really want to make this work, if you love me, we should be able to go out in public together."
Since he didn't answered back, Mollie stormed out of the bathroom, tears rolling down her cheeks.
TWO WEEKS LATER
It was the final game of the football team, the game that would decided which team wins this year. Mollie and Daniel ignored eachothers for real these past few weeks. She went to the game with her friends but her heart wasn't there.
At the end, their school team won. Because of Daniel. She decided to leave, as the cheerleaders were jumping everywhere around Daniel.
Suddenly, someone called her name. "Mollie!" She turned around to see Daniel passing past the cheerleaders and running towards her.
"I don't want to talk with you, Daniel. Not now." She said.
Out of breath, Daniel grabbed Mollie's hand so she woudn't walk away. When she had her in front of him he crashed his lips on hers.
"I love you." He said out loud, while everybody was listenning and watching.
