Me, Tez, Mel and Lue left the building through the back door. "So I'll text y'all the haps if we're going to L.A. Or not" I said pointing to them

"Tight" tez said "me and lue are going to my house, deuces" I threw up a peace sign and a smirk
"Smell ya later haters" Mel said making his voice go higher as he kept talking and I laughed
"Bye nigga" tez said saluting me, and me saluting him.

Me and Lue linked arms and went to my car, the other direction as the boys.

"DESTINY" I heard Hayes' voice scream my name from behind. He was walking towards the parking lot from the school. He had 'Sara' under his arm which made me uncomfortable.

They ran to catch up to us, we didn't wait on them continuing to walk.

We got to the car as Hayes and this Sara girl met us. "What's good Hayesie" I put my backpack in the backseat of my car along with Lue and our cheer bags.

"What are y'all doing today?" Hayes asked
"Going to eat then cheer practice" I said going to the drivers side of the car.
"Well can you take me and Sara to her place?"
"What did mom say?"
"She said it was fine" he looked at me weirdly
"your lying" I noticed he was holding his pinky, he does that when he tells a lie.

"No I'm not" he threw his hands up then slapped them to his side.
"You're nose is ten feet long, dude" I said and Lucy laughed
"Destiny chill, Mom said it's totally fine" he pleaded
"Then you wouldn't mind me calling her?" I held my phone up smirking
"Nope" he said confidently. I got my phone out and called mom.

"Hello?"
"Yo mah"
"yo child"
"Did you tell Hayes he can go to a girls house?" There was a brief silence.
"Absolutely not. They can come here, I'm home and they'll have to stay in the living room"
"ok bye." I hung up.

I told them what she said. "It's better than nothing" Hayes said getting in the back seat of the car with his girl. She looked nervous to get in the car. Like I was going to hit her and make her walk if she said the wrong thing.

"I'm Destiny by the way" I turned around in my seat to look at Sara. "I'm Lucy" Lue said putting a hand up in a funny way.

"Oh I know, I whatch y'all's videos, your really funny." She said. It was awkward and I didn't know what to say.

"Thanks we worked hard on those" Lue said noticing my look of desperation I was giving her. "Sara is a cheerleader on JV at the high school" Hayes said obviously trying to get me to like her.
"I thought she was in eighth grade?" Lucy asked
"She got moved up because she's really good" Hayes said and Sara blushed

"Oh really? Do you do competitive cheerleading?" Lue asked as we pulled into our neighborhood. "Yea I'm actually trying out for shooting stars" she said

"So are we" Lucy said excited, hitting me in the arm like she was trying to get my attention. "What level are you on?" I asked
"I'm level 4" she said modestly
"oh cool, hope you make it" I said hoping I wouldn't have to be on the same team as her.

I stopped the car and got out with nothing but my phone and went inside. "Let's just eat here" Lue said as we got inside. I nodded and she went to the pantry while I went to the fridge.

I grabbed a cup of yogurt and a spoon and went to my room with Lue following behind me with a box of whales.

"What the hell was that?" Lue shut the door then plopped on my bed while I sat on my desk chair. "What?" I threw away the yogurt top wrapper.

"You were like 'hope you make it' like in your 'your a bitch hope you don't make it' tone" she said giggling at the end.

"Did not!" I screamed smiling
"You did."
"I didn't mean to. I'm just protective of little hayesie" "awe" she put two hands over her heart and fell back onto the bed

"and you heard the chick she said she knew who we were! What if she's a fan girl trying to get to Hayes for fame? Ever thought about that? It's happened!" I said as Lue laughed.

"I'm serious!" Lue continued laughing "you're so weird" She finished laughing. "Why is she even trying out for a level five team if she has level four skills?" Lue asked dumb found. "I don't know" I ate more of my yogurt getting on my phone. I had a bunch of text.

Nash: I talked to mom & She said y'all could come if you want but you have to pay for the plane ticket.
Me: I have been saving. I have more than enough #bank
Nash: ur a lozer
Nash: but can't wait to see you sis:):
Me: why sad/happy face!?
Nash: Bc I miss u:( and I can't wait to see you:)
Me: how sweet
Nash: I can help pay for your ticket
Me: I got it lil bro
Nash: ur 1 year older shut up
Me: still older;)

"Hey we should probably get going" Lue said. It was 4:30. We have school cheer practice at five and tryouts for shooting stars at seven.

I got up and changed into A pink nike sports bra and black shorts and cheer shoes while Lue changed into some of my clothes also.

This book is NOT going to be all about cheer. But there is some drama that happens during practice and shiz so yea, don't decide to not read Bc you don't cheer and think it'll be confusing, it won't trust me.
