Chapter 9: Hungover

Jenny's POV:
I woke up to my head aching as if it was going to split open. I tried to walk to the counter, but gave up half way through and just retreated back to the couch. Daniel was making something in the kitchen and finally noticed that I was awake.
"Good morning Jenny, how's your head?" He says while I smelled something good coming from the kitchen.
"Terrible, it feels like it's going to split open." I said while clutching my head. Daniel came over and handed me a weird drink. I give him a confused look and he started laughing.
"Don't worry, it's for your hungover headache. Stephen gets drunk from time to time with Jay so I have to make this for them or they'll be cranky all day."
I chuckled as I took a sip. It was delicious! It was like a sweet tea.
"It's delicious!" I said as I finished the last drops of it. Daniel blushed as I could feel my headache slowly fade away.
"It's nothing really."
"Thank you! It really works. My headache is gone now."
"You don't go drinking out much, do you?" He asked as I shook my head no. I rarely ever go to parties, since I'm still in college. I was always stuck at home, but I realized that I'll be out more now.
"It's the weekend so we could watch a few movies, if you want." He said as he went to get another cup of tea.
"I would love too! What are we gonna watch?" I ask as Daniel is looking for popcorn.
"Hm, I was thinking maybe a horror movie?"
"Oh! I got one! What about Slender Man?" I ask as Daniel started to heat the popcorn.
"I actually haven't watched that one yet." He says as he comes to sit down next to me.
"Then let's watch it!" I grab the blanket and cover myself with it. Daniel gave me a what-about-me look. I laughed and shared the blanket. He glowed like a child and I thought it was adorable. The blanket wasn't big enough so I had to lean against him so we both got to use the blanket. A bit forward into the movie, I felt something on my shoulder. I look over to see Daniel leaning onto my shoulder. I could tell that Daniel looked really tired, he had heavy bags underneath his eyes. I could tell he really needed a break and I'm glad that he suggested for us to watch movie. I started smiling as he leaned even closer. He reminded me of a child. I couldn't help but messing with his hair. He was just like a big baby when he slept. I couldn't focus on the movie, he was too adorable. I let him sleep on the couch as I went to drink some more tea. While I was in the kitchen, I realized Sky left me tons of messages.

Someone told me you got attacked and shot! I told you to be careful!!! Are you okay?? I swear to god if you died, I will personally go to that murderer and kill him for you. Please tell me your okay. I'm not ready to go to jail tbh but still. 

Jenny:
Hey Sky.

Sky:
Omg! Are you okay? Do I still have to kill him for you??

Jenny:
I'm okay, really. I staying at the guy's house while mine is still a crime scene.

Sky:
I swear you are trouble everywhere you go. Just be careful, okay? I'll head straight over the second I get off the plane, you understand me girl?

Jenny:
Okay okay. I'll be sure to meet you. Love you!

Sky:
Love you too gurl! See you soon.

I turned off the phone just as Hosuh walked in, he looked as if he had another cold. I smirked and handed him a cup of tea. He smiled and drank it quickly.
"Daniel's magical tea huh." He said as he looked at me with sleepy eyes. I ruffled his hair as he continued to drink his tea. I couldn't help it.
"You look way too cute!" I giggled as he suddenly turned bright red.
"C-Can you say that again?" He said as I continued to ruffled his hair.
"Huh? I said that you were way too cute." I said, confused.

Hosuh's POV:
I couldn't stop blushing. I needed to hear her say it again. I finally finished the tea without turning completely red. I got up to go use the bathroom when I noticed a thin stack of papers on the ground. I picked it up and I noticed Jenny looking really uncomfortable. She looked away as I started to read what was on it. It looked like a hospital report, then I realized that it was Jenny's. It said mostly her basic health stuff. I skimmed through until I noticed the last page was a different color. I flipped to that page and read it. It was her treatment method and plan. Then my eyes grew wide. They were injecting low doses of poison in her body for a full week and was going to continue doing it until she died a week afterwards. I dropped the paper is shock.
"I'm sorry for not telling you sooner. I didn't want to worry you." I heard Jenny mumble as she looked away. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her in for a hug. She was too surprised that she didn't have time to react.
"W-Why did you do that?!" Jenny yelled as she become flustered. I chuckled as she looked up to me, her face bright red.
"Well you looked like you needed one. Plus, I felt down so it's a win-win." I said, barely being able to keep a straight face without becoming incredibly flustered.
"O-Oh! Well, thank you." She said, avoiding my gaze. I gave her a kiss on her forehead. She became ten times redder as she quickly pulled back a bit.
"Why did you do that?!" She exclaimed as I looked away.
"Because I wanted too. Look, I'm sorry but I had to." I said as I walked out of the kitchen. I ran into my room and covered my face with my hands. I finally let out a quiet sigh as I just realized what I just did. I couldn't think straight as I laid back in bed. I hadn't realized that Daniel was listening and watching the entire time in jealously.
