"Log document 50, Inmate number 3456....." Shallow sighed rubbing her eyes "Inmate 3456, has been experimented with a substance and side-effects are showing right now. Excessively puking, teary eyes, chest pain, and difficulty breathing. He claims to be hearing scream or talking." She yawned and shuffled some papers "Blood pressure is 567 and temp is 99.7° F. " She grunted "His skin color was more pale, Eyes losing color and nails falling apart.... But tomorrow I'll learn more about 3459.
From Mrs.Shallow, End log." She heard the tape cut off, Staring at the papers. Shallow unbuttoned her uniform, taking her jacket off and continued working.
Few hours later (1:56Am)
Shallow looked at the time "My shift is finally over...." She got up, put the papers in the bag and left her office... The clicking of her heels sounded the dim hallways....
( Time skip to her at home )
She took off her heels when she got in the house.. Putting her bag down, She went to check on Bex and Hunter /her children/. Bex and Hunter were sound asleep, She left the door cracked and walked to the her bedroom which she shared with her husband, Crisis. Shallow took a shower, brushed her teeth and went to bed right next to him.
"Your coming home late" A deep soft voice spoke.
"And your up late, Had a hard time putting the kids to bed?" She looked at her husband
"Little nutjobs didn't want to sleep"
"Oh really? What are they? Squirrels now?" She chuckled
"Hmph, you try getting them to stay in bed." He said but kissed her cheek
She hummed "You smell like whiskey"
"I know,I'm tired"
"Okay good night, I love you"
"I love you too" He cuddled her close in a protective way.
(Next morning 🌄)
"Mom! Mom! Mom!" Repeated over and over
Shallow woke up to Bex and Hunter
jumping up and down "Ok, Ok! I'm up!"
"We want breakfast!" The children said
She sighed and got up to make breakfast. The classic eggs, bacon, toast and, orange juice.
After breakfast, Shallow took her kids to elementary school and their grandparents would pick them up.
Shallow dropped the kids off and drove to work.
