What Happens in the Isle, Stays in the Isle

Chapter 19 Carlos POV

Carlos POV

I couldnt wait to get back. I felt bad for missing Mals first weeks back, but if i didnt go to this pre course, i wouldnt of gotten in. The limo dropped me off to the gate where Jane, Evie, and Ben were waiting. My eyes locked with my girlfriend, and i couldnt stop smiling. I dropped my abgs and wrapped my arms around her spinning her around. "Oh my god i missed you." I said to her leaning in and kissing her lightly. 

When i finally looked away from her, i then noticed only a few of my friends were here. "Wheres Jay and Mal?" I asked them. All three of them looked at the ground. "What did i miss?" I asked them. "Maybe i'll let you guys explain to him." Jane whispered kissing my cheek and walking away. 

"Evie whats going on?" I asked her. She sighed. "Jay and Mal went back to the Isle, for good." Evie said. "What?" I shouted. Why the hell would they just leave? i thought to myself. "Wait." I paused. "Why are you still here?" I asked my best friend. If both of them left, why would she stay. Then my eyes flickered to their hands. It all clicked in my head. "you know what, never mind." I said getting my bags and walking passed them. I was so shocked so hurt, and i honestly didnt know what to do. 

I went right to my home, which i shared with Jay, empty. His stuff still around, which made me believe he just packed what he needed and left in a hurry. I went to his room and i was right. Only his Isle clothes were gone, he had left his suits and ties. I sat on his bed and groaned in frustration. I dont know how long i was zoned out for but i heard a knock on the door. 

"Hey babe." Jane said sitting beside me. "Hey." I whispered.She grabbed my hand and put her head on my shoulder. "I dont think Jay wanted to leave." She whispered. I looked at her. "What happened?" I asked. She squeezed my hand. "Mal was depressed and Jay was the only one who noticed. She fell inlove on the Isle, and she got ripped from that. So it got bad, and Jay and i got my mother to help so she could see her boyfriend on the Isle." I stopped her. "She fell inlove?" I asked her. She nodded. "I think she fell inlove like we are inlove." SHe said looking at our hands. 

"Anyways, Jay and her went to tell Ben that she was leaving when they walked in on him and Evie." I let go of her hand and got up. "What? Evie and Ben?" I almost shouted. She nodded. "Ya its all over the Gossip sits right now. Her and Ben, got together when Mal was away." She said. I couldnt believe what she was saying. 

"They tried stoping Mal, and i think it was in that moment Jay decided to go with her." I cut her off again. "He wanted to protect her. He always want to protect us." I smiled. "So what are you going to do?" Jane asked me coming to my side. I shurged. "I dont know." I said just holding her. "How was the pre courses?" SHe asked me. I started to laugh almost forgetting what i had just came back from. 

"it was good. I learned a lot, i'm ready to start vet school." I said leading her out of Jays room. I looked at my packed bags, but then back at Jane, what was i going to do? Stay here without my two bestfriends, or follow them. 

"You want to go dont you?" Jane asked me. I looked at her as i now realized a tear was falling down my cheek. "I dont know." I said. She just hugged me tight. "If i go, i wont get to go to vet school." I said, shaking. "But if you dont go, then i dont know." Jane said as her words fell. "I can't leave you and evie." I said wipping my tears. "Shes probably going through a lot right now." I said grabbing my bags and throwing them on my bed. "Ya she is. Bell and Adam, really dont know how to respond right now. Everyone loved Mal." Jane said. I snickered a little bit. "She was too good for him anyways." 

We finished putting my clothes away when i checked the time. "I can see if i can get us the key for the gate." Jane said, she knew i wanted to go see them. I was dying too. "You think they'll give it to us?" I asked her excitedly. "I dont know, but we can try. How about you pack up some of his stuff hes probably missing and i'll go talk to my mom." She smiled. I brought her into a kiss. "I love you." I said. She giggled. "I love you too, now go get packing." 

After about 30 minutes of packing Jane came back. "I'm ready." I smiled at her holding his things. She looked at the ground. "They wont let us open the gate." She whispered. I dropped his bags. "What?" I asked her. "IF we cross they wont let us back over, we'll be there forever." She sighed. I rolled my eyes. "Doesnt mean we can't go. We have to stay on our side." She smiled grabbing the bags. "Come on." She said. I sighed and followed her. 

"How will they even know?" I asked her. "I called Mals Isle phone, my mom gave me the number, they are meeting us there." She said as the limo started to drive. The yellow bridge apeared as we drove over it. I was super excited to see them. As we got closer i saw her purple head and freaked out. Jane held me hand as the car stopped and i literally jumped out. 

"Mal." I shouted running up to the gate. "Dont come over." SHe warned me. I hand to stop myself. Jay has his arm loosly wrapped around Mals shoulder. They both looked so happy. "I missed you guys." I said to them. "We miss you too." Jay said to me. Suddenly, someone i havent seen in awhile ran up beside them, and kissed Mal. "Wow i really did miss a lot." I said, jane slipping her hand in mine. "Um, Ya carlos, you rememeber Harry, harry and i are engaged."  She said putting out her finger. 

Jane started to jump up and down with excitment. I was just shocked. "Oh my god." I said. "Couldnt let her leave me again." He smirked. I raised an eyebrow at Jay. He came close to the barriger. "Sorry for leaving you." He whispered, as Jane talked with Mal. "no its okay, i understand why you left." I told him, i went and grabbed his bags. "thought you would like some stuff." I said tossing it over. Jay laughed. "Yes thank you. I needed some of this." He said pushing the bag over. 

"You didnt see her face." He started. "Jay stop. I understand. I would of probably done the same thing. I'm almost about too." I whispered looking at how happy Mal is. "Shes family." I said. "I wish i could come over, but i have vet school." Mal walked over to us. "You better not cross." She warned. WE all just laughed. "I know, i wish i could i really do." I said looking at how happy she was. "Congratulations. I'm happy for you guys. Just wish i could be there to celebrate." I said looking down at my feet. "Well, maybe you can convince the king to have a day pass here or something for the wedding." Harry suggested. "I dont want a wedding that my best friend can't be apart of." Mal said looking up at him. 

"Dont worry, i'll think of something." i said with the most confidence i've ever had, though i really didnt know what i was going to do.
