the restless sleep

After that Kokichi unpacked and Shuichi did as well, then they both changed into night clothes, (in the bathroom that's in their room of course) and lied down to sleep. But Kokichi who was to nervous to sleep, was just laying there.

After about 20 mins he turned over facing Shuichi who looked to be awake as well but Kokichi didn't know if he was or not "Shuichi, are you awake?" Kokichi said whispering. Shuichi turned to look at Kokichi "yeah, I can't sleep"
"me either, but we need to sleep so we can wake up tomorrow"

"I know. How about we ask each other questions until one of us goes to sleep? That would solve our problem and we could get to know each other better!"

Kokichi thought for a moment "ok, sounds good! Who's gonna go first?" "You could" "alright, what is your quirk?" Shuichi had paused for a split second "mind reading/ influencing"

Kokichi's eyes widened ever so slightly he can read minds and influence them. I better not get on his badside..

"alright my turn, what is your quirk Kokichi?" "It's Hypnosis, I can hypnotize people when they look into my eyes" "funny how we sorta have similar quirks except I can read minds along side the influencing"  Kokichi nodded smiling

they continued on for about an hour and by that time they had known a lot about each other, except for why they are at UA

so Kokichi was the one to ask the question "why did you come to UA, Shuichi?" Shuichi looked up at Kokichi said nothing for a bit but then finally answered him

"I came here because, my mom wanted me to become the hero of the family because, you see my mom went here but dropped out soon after realizing that she was not cut out for hero work and my dad who had also came here, had made it to the hero league but died while trying to rescue civilians from a collapsing building, but I don't know if I want to be a hero, of course I want to control my powers but I can't decide if I want to use them for good or evil.."

Kokichi was sort of shocked at hearing that someone else was struggling with trying to become a hero "I can actually relate" "really?" "Yeah! Well of course my reasoning and intentions are different but I can relate because I have always wanted to be a villain ever since I found out about my quirk!"

Shuichi was surprised and happy that he had finally found someone who understands him. Shuichi smiled "then what are your reasoning and intentions?"

"Well, I came here because my parents fought against me becoming a villain and forced me to enroll here, but I kinda wanted to come here to control my power then escape when I fully control my power and become the best villain of the century!"

Shuichi smiled and slightly laughed "that is one big dream, Kokichi" "yeah well I tend to dream big a lot. Well im tired now I think I'm gonna go to sleep it was nice getting to know you more, goodnight" Kokichi said really fast while managing to yawn and getting under his blanket and turning away from Shuichi's direction

"g-goodnight" Shuichi was kinda shocked Kokichi managed to do all that so fast. Shuichi then got under his blanket and went to sleep knowing he would have a friend here after all.
