Hey! So, if you're reading this we believe you are a teenager and is also struggling to go through quarantine and as such we shall give you tips and tricks that while not being life-savers, are something to help you stand up to these dark times we are enduring right now. So, let's go straight to the topic. In this blog we bring you six tips that will help you somehow, and those are:

Tip number one – Start a project. I'm talking about that one you were always waiting the right time to get going. Yeah, you know the one I'm talking about, that one that kept you awake for nights on end figuring out if it was worth it or not and how to do it, that one that makes you imagine the face of wonder that your friends will have when you tell them you actually completed it. In short, pick up your tools, clean up your desk and be ready to finally get over with it, because the time you were waiting is now.

Tip number two – Chat with your peers. not through Whatssap, not through Instagram, messenger...Call them through Skype, Zoom or even by phone. You never know how much you missed someone's voice until you hear it after a long time. And even if you hear their voice through audios you may change through messages, call them and have a "face to face" conversation (while it's not really face to face it's the best we can do right now)

Tip number three – Learn a basic skill. Learn how to cook simple meals if you don't want to live relying on iFood. Learn how to speed read, it will save you hours of flicking though book pages. Learn how to make time schedules, you'll thank me later when you need to organize your life because you literally have no idea how to handle all of your activities. Learn how to write with your non-dominant hand, you're training a very inactive part of your brain, essentially making yourself smarter. Learn how to juggle, simply for the hell of it. You get the point, learn something that will help you later

Tip number four – Enjoy spending some time with your family. This one is self-explanatory

Tip number five – Binge watch classic movies. Pick a top 20 movies list and go through it, although I can't guarantee you'll enjoy all of them you can atleast say now that they are crap with some evidence to support it

Tip number six – Exercise anyway you can. On top of getting you into a nice shape for when we can finally leave home again, it releases substances that make you happier and make you feel better, two things we can really use at this moment

Tip number seven - Read some poetry as well. One of our editors has written a poem specially for you the reader to enjoy:

If you've watched everything on Netflix

And read all of your books

There's no need to freak out

We can solve your problems for good!

Just take a deep breath

And slowly count to ten

Imagine your worries melting away

As you begin to feel calm again

For all you have to do

Is have a little hope

That we can get through this

If we just wash our hands with soap

So keep your spirit up

And don't let your faith die

Not every day can be a good one

But it does not hurt to try

Tip number eight – Keep a calendar. I have no doubt you don't even know what day of the week is this, and I don't blame you, it's really hard to keep track of time when all of our days seem like the same. Therefore, I advise you to preserve your notion of time through the use o a calendar.

Anyway, these are the tips, hopefully you can make something out of them and survive the time of quarantine together, so have a good day, stay safe, and most of all stay sane!
