New Girl

My POV

Lucy wakes up. She rubbed her eyes and flips her legs over the bed. She stretched and does a backbend and stands back up. " Lucy! Get ready! " She heard Layla say. " I'm coming " She replied. She goes down stairs and eats breakfast. She brushed her teeth, takes a shower and then gets dressed. She wears a red checkered sleeve pull over crop hoodie, black ripped jeans, and red high top vans. Her hair is tied in a ponytail that was braided and it reached her waist. Some strands hang down and rest on her shoulder, her bangs are side parted and covered her forehead. She grabs her phone and bag and walks down stairs. She gets in the car. " Are you nervous or anything? " Layla asked. " Why would I be nervous, if anyone messes with me I can just beat them up " She said. Layla smiled softly. " That's my girl " She said quietly.

~At school~

Lucy walked into the courtyard. All eyes are on her. She sighed and was about to keep walking, but then lisanna stepped in front of her. Before she can say anything, Lucy speaks.
" I would love to listen to your stupid speech Lisanna, but don't have time so continue this later " She said and walks past her. Lisanna was confused. She hadn't even said her name yet, but the new girl already knew it.

~In the office~

Lucy walked into the office. " Next time I catch you fighting you'll be suspended " Mavis scolded. " Whatever " He said and rolled his eyes. They land on Lucy. He was mesmerized by her beauty. " Hello, you must be the new student, Lucile right? " Mavis asked. " Just call me Lucy " Lucy said. Mavis nodded. She grabbed a pink paper off the desk and hands it to Lucy. " Thank you " Lucy smiled. She walked out of the office. " Now young man go to class! And if I find that you skipped I'll-- " She stopped when Natsu got up. She was shocked. Natsu actually hadn't made a sarcastic remark for once.

~In class~

" Okay class, we have a new student today. Be respectful " Wakaba said. They groaned. He gestures for Lucy to come in. She walked in the class.
" Introduce yourself " Wakaba sighed. " My name is Lucile Heartfilia, but just call me Lucy " Lucy yawned. " Hey aren't you the daughter of that circus owner? " One guy bursts. Lucy rolled her eyes. " Yes " She said. The class wanted to laugh, but the dark aura around Lucy hinted for them to keep their mouths shut. " Okay go sit there next to Natsu " He said pointing to the empty seat. Lucy walks and sits down. Wakaba continues the lesson.

~At gym~

Lucy gets changed in gym clothes, basic shorts with white outline, and a white T-shirt. Then Gildarts blew the whistle. " Alright class! Listen up I've got a challenge for you. If any one of you can beat me in a race, you'll get free play " He said. The class errupted in cheers. " But there is a catch! " He added. They all groaned. " You have to run on your hands, and if no one beats me you all have to do laps for the whole period " He said. " That's not fair! " Max said. " I've gotta give myself a handicap. Your all young and full of youth. My bones don't work like they used to " He said. He just wants an excuse to give us extra work! Everyone but Lucy thought. " Alright line up! " He said. Lucy gets on the back of the line. Weird. Usually the new kids go first, and embarrass themselves. Maybe she doesn't want that to happen... He said. Everyone goes and failed. Most of them couldn't even do a hand stand, and the ones that could, could barely take a step. Lucy is up, they all sighed and stretch for their laps. Lucy stretched. " You won't win. All of them have been training for three years to beat me and still haven't " He said.
" Okay " Lucy shrugged. She gets on her hands. " Ready? Go! " He said and takes off. Lucy walks slowly at first. When she sees Gildarts get cocky and slow down she gets faster and speeds past him. Everyone was shocked. Someone actually beat Gildarts. Usually they loose in these games because of his ridiculous handicap, but someone actually. A new student at that. " I guess... You have free time " He said. They all cheered and Gildarts opens the equipment closet. The boys play basketball and some of the girls too. And others play volleyball. And some girls jump rope. Lucy herself just stays by herself and does some acrobatics. She does flips and back bends. When she walks backwards on her hands, someone stands in front of her. She noticed and puts her feet down in front of her face and stands up. It's a boy with Orange hair and another with reddish brown hair.
" Hi " She said with a smile. " Hi, my name's Loke " The orange haired one introduced. She nodded. " And my name is Dan " The other said. " Hi. I'm Lucile, but just call me Lucy " She smiled. " Lucy, do you wanna hang out with me and my friends at lunch? " He asked. Lucy thought. " I guess " She shrugged. " Great! " He said. " Wait can we eat on the rooftop? " Lucy asked. He was confused. " Eh? Sure " He said. Lucy smiled. " Okay thanks " She said.

~At lunch~

They all sit on the roof top. Lucy has met Loke's group of friends. There is the one already met during gym. Natsu Dragneel, Gajeel Redfox, Gray Fullbuster, Jellal Fernandes, and Laxus Dreyar. " So this is your new friend loke? " Laxus asked. " Yeah. why? " Loke asked. " She doesn't seem like your type... " Gajeel said. Loke cocks his head to the side. " Then what is my type? " He asked. He thought. " Usually the weak frail girl who's always the damsel in distress but bullies others " Gajeel explained. " And she definitely doesn't look like that " Natsu added, staring at her. " She's way to strong for you " Gray said. " No she's not. I can beat her easily " He bragged. They looked at each other then back at him. " Fight her " Gajeel said. " Eh? " Loke asked.
