Yeonjun let out a nervous sigh as soon as he stepped foot on the path towards the dorms. He had a suitcase full of everything he needed, and another bag for decorating his side of the dorm. He knew he was sharing a dorm with someone, Choi... Choi Soo..bin? He figured that was right. If not, he'll figure it out one way or another. He was nervous, especially nervous to meet his dorm-mate. He didn't know if he was gonna be an asshole, if he was gonna be rude, if he was gonna be a fuckboy, he didn't know. But there was only one way to find out. So, Yeonjun stepped towards the doors where he could go inside and find his dorm.

"308, 310, 312... 314! Got it." Yeonjun muttered to himself. He didn't know if his roommate was already there or not, but he knocked on the door just in case.

"Come in, door's unlocked!" a voice answered from the other side. Yeonjun took a deep, nervous breath before opening the door and pulling his suitcase into the room. He looked at whoever was in the room, his eyes lying on a tall boy standing on his bed and setting up pretty fairy lights on the wall beside his bed. The boy glanced over at Yeonjun, making eye contact with him. He smiled sweetly, revealing dimples on his cheeks.

"Hey!" the boy greeted, waving to Yeonjun a little. He finished putting the fairy lights up and got off of the bed, walking towards Yeonjun. Yeonjun has never seen someone so... tall before. He was probably a few inches taller than him. "Um... I'm Choi Soobin. You're Choi.. Yeonjun, right?"

"Y-Yes, I am... Nice to meet you." Yeonjun politely stuck his hand out to shake hands, Soobin being quick to gently yet firmly grasp it.

"Nice to meet you too, Yeonjun..." Soobin answered, both bowing their heads politely as they shook hands. Yeonjun let go of Soobin's hand, which was decently bigger than his. He awkwardly stood there, pursing his lips back. He glanced down at his feet instead of up at Soobin. It was obvious that he felt awkward and rather shy. Thankfully, Soobin spoke up again. "Uh... Sorry, you can get yourself set up. I've got some um... other stuff to finish too." he said, backing away from Yeonjun and rubbing his neck.

"Yeah, um... S-Sorry. I'm not great at meeting new people." Yeonjun admitted, making his way over to his half of the room. He had a completely blank canvas to work with. Though, he wasn't gonna do too much with it. The most he figured he'd decorate is his desk, leaving the wall next to his bed completely... blank. It was for a good reason though. So, with that, he began to set up his desk first.

"That's okay. I know a couple of people who're like that. But we all got along pretty quick." Soobin said with a smile, sitting on his bed cross-legged to put some stuff on his wall. "Um... While we're doing, uh.. this, shouldn't we get to know each other a bit?"

"Sure... What do you wanna know?" Yeonjun asked, a natural pout forming on his lips.

"I guess whatever you'd like to tell me. Basic stuff, really..." Soobin briefly glanced at Yeonjun, then turned to his wall and beginning to decorate it with some pictures of people that reminded him of home so he'd feel less homesick.

"Well... Y-You already know who I am, uh... I'm 20 years old. I'm majoring in music and minoring in photography... I e-enjoy dancing too, it's just something else I do... Uh.. I sing too, sometimes..." Yeonjun answered as he filled the drawers of his desk with whatever he needed for classes/work. He also had plenty of film for his Polaroid camera, which he'd gotten a couple years ago. He still had it and still used it to this day.

"Huh... You and I are rather similar." Soobin said, picking up another picture to place on the wall. "I'm 19 and I'm also majoring in music, but I'm minoring in art for drawing. I dance and sing too though!"

"You draw?" Yeonjun asked, connecting a desk lamp to an outlet, turning the lamp on then off to make sure it worked properly.

"I do. I draw realistically, for the most part. Sometimes I go for more abstract art too." Soobin smiled a little. "My friends like watching me draw."

"Hm... I'd like to see sometime..." Yeonjun murmured, barely loud enough for Soobin to catch.

"I'm sure you will. I'll probably be drawing in here for assignments or for fun."

"I see..." Yeonjun whispered.

For a while, the two talked about all the things they liked or disliked, what their opinions were on different topics... They got to know each other pretty well and grew comfortable with each other's presence fairly quick. They were already laughing occasionally as they spoke to each other. Eventually, the two finished setting up their halves of the room. Soobin couldn't help but notice Yeonjun's wall beside his bed was blank. Completely.

"You doing anything about your wall?" Soobin asked, leaning back as his arms supported him up.

"Um... I plan to take some pictures and putting them on my wall while I'm here." Yeonjun answered, sighing as he sat down on his bed.

"Oh~ Good idea. I'm sure whatever you put up there will look nice. You like exploring, so... I don't doubt you'd take great shots." Soobin encouraged.

"Thank you..." Yeonjun bit his lip, looking down at his lap. He played with the hems of his sleeves, his head shooting back up once Soobin spoke up.

"Hey, um... Classes start on Monday, so we have all day tomorrow... Would you like to meet some of my friends tomorrow?"

"Oh." Yeonjun blinked, hesitating before nodding. "Um... Sure."

"Perfect..." Soobin smiled again, revealing his dimples that Yeonjun found adorable. "I'm sure you'll fit in just fine. No pressure."

"Thanks. Um... D-Do they go here..?"

"Yeah! We all managed to get in the same college, thankfully."

"Ah... Okay." Yeonjun smiled a little bit, looking down at his lap again. Maybe he'd fit in... He hoped he would. He hoped Soobin's friends were as nice as he was. Maybe college wasn't gonna be as lonely as he thought it would be.
