Lumine: A Story of Two Friends (Hiatus)

Chapter 1: Waiting

Our story begins after episode 105. . .

Narrator P.O.V.

Kody lay asleep in his bed. Lumine looked at him with his face partly covered. He was still pretty sad about him. He was sad to see his friend like this. As he sat up from his chair he was at, he heard Camille call him.
"Lumine, I'm going out. Be careful..."

"O...ok." Lumine said obediently. He went to sit down on the couch while he heard the door close behind him.

Lumine's P.O.V.

'I really hope Kody will wake up soon. Things have been hard for the both of us, and I don't like seeing him suffer.' I opened up a book and started to read. I read for a while. After a few hours, I started to get tired. I decided to get into bed and go on my phone.

I woke up to the sounds of Camille cooking breakfas. I got dressed and headed to the table.

"Oh, Lumine. Your up." She said cheerfully.
"Yea..." I turned my smile to a straight face. "How's Kody?" I questioned. I started to cut into the food when Camille put a hand on me.

"Like I said, he'll be fine. He just needs rest." 'I hope she's right'

Narrator's P.O.V.

Throughout the day, Lumine say beside Kody's bed. After a while Camille can in.
"You know, Lumine, Kody is probably not gonna wake up for a while. Come on, let's go for a walk." She said softly. She knew how Lumine felt. Lumine grabbed his coat, and they headed outside.

Lumine's P.O.V.

I walked to the door. Camille was waiting for me, so I quickly put on my shoes and ran up to her.

I started to feel more relaxed when we were walking. I started to think about how Kody was doing.
"Thinking about him is not gonna help anything."

"Ahh!" She startled me. "Oh....I know." I said as I sat down by a slightly frozen pond. I grabbed a stone and skipped it across the non-frozen parts. Camille sat next to me.
"How are you holding up?" She asked me. I looked down.

"I'm just worried...I have a question"

"Ask away."

"Um...the damage that Kody has already gained from the spirit...will it go away?"

"Oh..." She looked down too. "It's kinda depends. His body already couldn't handle the strain of using magic, so there is no fixed answer."

I just couldn't help it. I looked down and tears started to come down. 'I don't want him to suffer anymore..."

After a while, I pulled myself together, and we made our way back.

I went into Kody's room. Seeing him law there helplessly made a tear roll down my cheek. I grabbed a pillow and I laid down on the floor next to his bed. Soon, I overcame to the powerful force of sleep.
