The sky was like black velvet above me as I gently stroked Myles's stubbled face, soothing him to sleep.

Today one of the rouges had used a cigarette on him, burning dark circles into his back. He was passed out when they brought him back and didn't wake for two hours. And when he did he let out a pained whimper that made my heart clutch. I cleaned his burns as much as I could and then laid his head in my lap and cleaned him. He stared up at me and would reach up to gently rub my cheek...

He may be tall and well built but like most good Alpha's, has a soft heart. To be a ruler like they are takes an iron hand but also patience and compassion. Myles will make a great Alpha.

I took my eyes from the sky to see that Myles was indeed asleep. As softly but swiftly as possible I moved his head to rest on his balled up shirt. I went to the door and began picking the lock. It took a small amount of practice but it wasn't the first time I had picked a lock. The door popped open and creaked slightly.

Once outside I locked the door without closing it, picking it form the outside to make sure I could back in. I couldn't leave it unlocked in case one of the rouges decided to make sure. With one last glance to Myles inside, I closed and locked the door.

I met no rouges on my way to the lunch hall- where they had been taking Myles for... That. I passed the table that still had a bit of bodily fluids on it and entered a separate area to the left.

There was a small hallway with a few doors in the cement walls. I went to the first and knocked lightly.

A small scratching noise then it opened wide. A shirtless Marshall stepped to the side to let me in the cell. Once inside, his window on the ceiling illuminated his features. The hall way light did not do him justice. By the moon, he was beautiful, completely rugged in appeal with a chest dusted in blonde hair and arms as big around as a tree it seemed.

I knew my mouth was hanging open but I couldn't quite gain control of my motions. I slowly reached out for his hand, needing to know he was real. And good lord was he real; his hands were large and warm in twined with mine, his breath hot as he brought his face closer to mine, his lips soft as he pressed them to my temple. I shivered at the contact and finished the last step, closing the space between us.

"I never thought I would see you again. I've longed to hold you for so long, it was never far from my mind. Even when the rouges tortured me, you helped me trough the hardest times." He whispered.

I gasped and pushed him into the moonlight casting down from the ceiling. Scars, burns, cuts. I hadn't noticed the cross work of scar tissue on his body. His legs were covered but I was sure they had more wounds. I slowly looked to his pretty blue eyes and gently ran my hand up his chest to his cheek where I let my finger rub the scar from his eye to his hair. "I'm sorry. I wish I could help."

"You can." He clutched my hands. "Just let me hold you."

After a whole hour we were in the same position; Marshall under the moonlight with his arms wrapped around my waist and my arms around his neck. It was the most comfortable I had ever felt in my life. I didn't want to leave.

During the whole hour we hadn't spoken a single word, just basked in the comfort. But it was bound to be broken.

"We should do this every night." I could hear the smile in his voice. I didn't have to move my head from resting on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.

I desperately wanted to but I knew better, I had a responsibility. "I can't, I have take care of Alpha Myles."

"Hmm, I'm not sure that I like he's made such a great impression on you." His hold on me tightened slightly in a protective manner.

I smiled, "Its a wonderful feeling when someone cares about you. Especially how much you care for me."

"Anything for you." He kissed my temple and we stayed that way a little longer.

I decided I needed to get back to my cell and stood up. Marshall stood and kissed my hand. "Anytime, girly, you just come on over." I squeezed his hand, leaving a hopefully soothing feeling left in his small cell as I made my way to my original cell.

When I unlocked the door Myles was standing in front of it with his arms crossed. He seemed upset about something. "Well look who finally comes home after curfew."

Ta-da!! Some strange things happening between the new triangle. So which team are you on? Marshall or Myles? We don't know what these shivers are and yada yada! What are we to do?!?! Hope you liked it :)
