They pretend not to see her spiraling
Or the vultures circling
They watch as the tears spill from her weary eyes
And her hope unborn dies
But they say nothing when she lifts her head wiping away the tears she's cried
And whispers 'I'm sorry I tried.'
Everyone frozen with fear
Questioned what had brought her here
And unsure of what to say or do
They just watched as she pierced her heart through.
So they mourned her and with nothing left to say
They all just went their own separate way
