Five years ago, I entered into a contract marriage with Ruwei. At that time, both Ruwei and I were already very famous, but to better both our careers, mine as a singer, and his as an actor, we decided to enter into a contract marriage to benefit from each other.

We actually went to college together so we know each other, but there's no love or anything between the two of us. We have set rules such as no cheating or anything, or any affections, but nothing between us besides mutually benefiting off of each other.

Since this is a contract marriage, no one knows that we are married, the world still thinks we are single celebrities, which is why we have to be even more careful. Every year on our anniversary, we would get together to eat dinner, but we only see each other once a year on that night.

We are both extremely busy as celebrities, plus, it's not even a real marriage, so as long as we don't break any of our set rules, we don't need to see each other too many times. At some times, I would actually miss him, I did spend four years with him in college and we are married, but we're not like that.

Now, the two of us are just focusing on our own lives.

Dingding's P.O.V.

I let out a groan as I was zipped into my tight corset. I held onto the railing as they finally zipped me into the corset. Then, they began putting on my dress. I like to have crazy outfits for my concerts, so every single time, getting into my costumes is quite painful.

Once they finished, I took a few seconds to get some more oxygen into my lungs. Once I finally felt like I could breathe again, I nodded and my crew began leading me to where I would get on stage. Everyone gave me a thumbs-up as I got ready to get on stage.

I grabbed onto my microphone and moments later, I was raised onto the stage. I started dancing and singing once the music began. I love performing concerts, it's the joy of my life. Once I finished performing, I returned backstage and went to my dressing room.

I let out a sigh as I slumped into my chair and began removing all my accessories and makeup. I looked at my phone and saw a text from Ruwei, reminding me about our anniversary dinner in one week. This is the only time that we as a married couple see each other, so whether it's a real marriage or not, it's still a treasured time.

My assistant, Rose, draped a cape over my shoulders since it was getting dark and cold. Once everything was done, we headed back to the hotel. As usual, I was bombarded by fans who were waiting outside of the stadium. I had to dodge paparazzi as well.

I took a nice, long bath back at the hotel and slipped into my bathrobe before sitting down with my manager and other key people to go over what we would be doing next. I always keep myself extremely busy; I hold a concert every two or three days at a different location.

"Ding, we have already put your anniversary dinner into our weekly schedule, we will be in Beijing that night, so everything will work out." Liam, my manager, said. I nodded and gave him a thumbs up. Only my closest people in my crew, my parents, and Ruwei's parents know about this, no one else knows.

"I can't believe the two of you have been married for almost six years, yet you've only seen each other six times." He said with a small sigh, "Ding, you're such an amazing woman, why are you doing this to yourself? I support you because I know your reasons, but you don't need his support, you're so powerful in China, you can find someone who can give you a husband's love."

"I know, I've thought about this before, but even if I were to find a husband who loves me, it would be really hard because we're both so busy, how would we have time to love each other?" I asked as Liam stood up and patted my shoulder.
