Chapter 17

I wake up around 9:45am and quickly get into my workout clothes. I connected my phone to the Bluetooth speaker in my room and played my workout playlist.

After an hour of cardio I went to check my message I had messages from Jaden, Josh and Harry
Jaden- ok i dont know how to tell you this but you kinda look cute when you're asleep 😂
Me-well, that's a first😂

Josh- hii jess what's up? wanna come to the sway today for one of my YouTube videos?
Me- Hi Josh sure I would love to.
Josh- great see you today at 3pm? Oh and also it's a hot tub video so please bring a bathing suit. See you:))

Harry- looking forward to seeing you today beautiful:)
Me- haha, same:)

I keep my phone on my nightstand and go to take a bath. I remember that I have to meet Harry at 12 which is in less than an hour. Oh crap I messed up. I quickly take a bath and choose to wear a black jeans with a red crop tank top. I leave my hair open as they are still straight from yesterday and I don't have time to straight them. I did some basic makeup and walked out of the house. I put of bag of my orange bathing suit in my car so I can go straight to the sway house. I text Avani in my way to the car as she was still asleep and I don't want her to be worried when she wakes up. I look at my watch and it's 11:55
I drive to Pizza Hut with luckily less traffic and reach by 12:02 I see Harry sitting on a table scrolling through his phone.

"Hi Harry" I say standing beside him gaining his attention. He looks at me and gets up and pulls me into a hug.
"Hey Jess" I wrap my hands around his neck and hug him.
"What's up?" I say pulling out a seat for me and seating myself.
"Nothing. First things first, I was hungry so I ordered a large pepperoni for us to share, hope that's your order." He smiles.
"Umm, actually no I'm a vegetarian" I smile at him. The smile on his face fades away and he gives me a confused expression. "But it's okay, I'm not that hungry" I smile at him and he smiles back.
He tells me that he has dated a lot of girls but never found the right one. I laugh. We talk for about random stuff. He calls for the check and pays for the food only he ate. He started walking towards the door and I follow him. We stop after a few seconds and he gently slips his hand into mine. "So did you enjoy our first date." I politely take my hand out of his and break eye contact.
"This was not a date" I laugh.
"Then what was it?" He asks, the smile disappearing off of his face.
"It was just friends, hanging out" I let out an awkward laugh.
"Oh so when are we going on a date?" He laughs. I cringe.
"Harry, I didn't mean to give you a wrong impression, I just wanna be friends." I say unlocking my car.
"We'll see about that." He winks at me and then leaves.

I suddenly realise I haven't eaten anything since this morning. I stop at in and out's drive through to get food. I call Josh to ask if the boys at the sway wanna have something he tells me everyone's order. I pick it up and drive to the sway eating a burger as I'm super hungry. I reach at their front door and it's already open.
I walk in and see Avani and Nessa in their bathing suits.
"Hi guysss" I say and give them both a hug.
"Oh hi Jess. Vani told me you were out with Harry how did it go?" She asks me.
"Let's just say that it went" I try to control my laugh.
"You were out with who?" I hear someone say from my back. I turn around to see Jaden in his shorts standing and eyeing me. I begin to say something but Josh cuts me off.
"Guys we have get this video finished before the sun goes down or we'll loose the lighting. Jess there you are give me the burgers" I hand the bag to him. "Where is your bathing suit?" I hold my bag up and show it to him. "Okay go change in Jaden and I's room" he tells me and I start walking up the stairs. I hear Jaden follow me.
I enter his room and look behind and see Jaden standing right behind me. "You went out with Harry?" He questions. "Yeah but just as friends." Say taking my bathing suit out and walking into his bathroom. I close the door but not lock it. "Why didn't you tell me?" He shouts so that his voice could reach me in the bathroom. "I didn't think it was important it's not like I was on a date. Jaden don't be mad at me please" I say. I know I should've told him but it just seemed so irrelevant until he said it was a date in the end. I thought we were just going out as friends
"Did something weird happen? Like did he do anything- you know- suspicious?" He asks, I can tell that he's asking me all this with a worried look on his face. "I'll tell you after the video" I say.
"What do you meannnnn?" He stretches the last word. "Jaden you don't have anything to worry about ok?" I say walking out of the bathroom keeping my clothes in my bag in which was the bathing suit.
He eyes me stops saying whatever he was about to say. I can see his eyes going from my head to my toes and I just let out a small laugh and ignore it. "Come on let's go or Josh will kill us" I say looking at him. He waits for two seconds. "Come on" I repeat myself.
"Only because you look beautiful right now, I have to talk to you about this after the video okayyy?" He asks me. I laugh "okay" I assure him. We walk out of the room and head towards he hot tub.
