I can't believe it.

When we arrived in town we had to go through the back way to every shop. Sometimes it gets so boring!

"Mina I have to tell you something."

"You're not pregnant are you?"

I looked away.

"Ruby!" She shouted quite loud. I threw my hand over her mouth.

"SHUT UP YOU'LL DRAW ATTENTION!" I whisper throwing my hand over her mouth. "And NO! I don't know yet."

"What? you think you are?"

"I don't know. I keep throwing up in the mornings when I wake up."

"When was the last time you know.." She gave me a look.

"last week." I grimaced "You don't need to kno-" I stopped at what I saw.

"Holy crap!" Mina whispered.

"Callie..." I stuttered out.

She turned around, her long brown hair falling neatly around her shoulders.

"Ruby?"

So here we were stood in the middle of a highstreet staring at eachother. Although it had to be expected. We hadn't spoken for over a year. My bestfriend of 18 years was stood right infront of me and I felt nothing. I didn't feel happy. I didn't't feel angry nor did I feel sad. I just stared with a blank expression. I felt a warm stream on my cheek I reached up and brushed it away. I felt someone nudge my arm I slowly turned around to see my mum and dad.

Everything started going fuzzy.

Mina's POV.

"Callie..." I span around to be faced with Ruby and Brad's long term girlfriend mina.

"Ruby?" I asked slowly.

We all just stood there staring at each other blankly.

A tear streamed down he face followed by plenty more. Her face didn't show what she was feeling. She was just stood there like a statue. I looked at mina who gave me a small smile. Mum and dad started to make their way over to us. They tapped Ruby's shoulder when she span around her face went ashen with an emotion I couldn't explain to you.

She legged it into a shop with Mina trying to run after her.
