"What do you mean we are moving?" I ask a little suprised that my parents are just now springing this on me. "We are moving to the country, its small its nice and you will like it once you get used to it", my mom replied. " I can't believe this I have lived her all my life and now we are leaving to a small town, thats barely even on the map and is in the middle of nowhere". I said more trying to plead my parents not to make me go and leave my friends that I loved so dearly.

I looked at my dad who was standing next to the door to the kitchen so quiet, I had almost forgotten he was even there and he had a look in his eyes like he didn't want to move either. "Dad please make her change her mind!" I begged with tears starting to build up in my eyes and as he just looked at me, I knew thier was no changing his mind either we were moving and I couldn't do a damn thing about it. As tears started to pour from my eyes I ran up the stairs to my room and slammed the door.

That night I didn't eat, I had cried myself to sleep and got up feeling like I had a hangover. Throwing both feet over the edge bed I stood up and began to walk down stairs wish that last night was just a bad nightmare, but when I arrived down stairs reality hit me it was in fact not a nightmare it was really happen. As soon as I could see into the living room I almost started crying again their were boxes everywhere, and some were already packed, taped, and marked.

"you should go ahead and pack we leave in a week, I know you say you won't like moving to the country but trust me you will once you get used to it". If every kid has had a dollar for everytime a parent has told them that every kid in the world would be rich. I rolled my eyes and went upstairs to get ready for the last few days of school and to break the news to my friends that I would be permantly moving to the country in the middle of nowhere.

There was a knock on the door and it was my friend elizebeth she always walked with me to the bus stop and we always had the best time. Elizebeth was fourteen and sixteen she was the first friend i had when i moved into this part of town and she would be the one i missed the most. "hey Loanne, you ready to go?"
