Another Chance

3. Training

Boruto woke up from the the voice of his mother calling him for breakfast. He went down and saw everyone on the table. Even his dad was there, the real one. He was surprised and confused why they were complete, asking, why. "Well, you just came back so maybe we could eat and chat together." Naruto said. Boruto was happy that his father had started appreciating and giving more effort in his family. He joined them eating, they talked about Boruto's progress on training, everything that has changed, etc. Boruto looked at the clock, realizing that he will be late for his training with his friends if he doesn't get ready. He went upstairs, and got ready quickly. He didn't want to arrive late, the last thing he want is Sarada embarrassing him infront of everybody for being late. He sprinted to the training grounds. Seeing his friends there, waiting for others, "Just on time" Shikadai said. He was glad that he didn't arrived late. After everyone arrived, they started training. They started by pairs, sparring against each other, making a tournament-like competition. First, it was Boruto versus Iwabe, then Metal Lee versus Mitsuki. Chocho versus Inojin and Shikadai versus Sarada

(I will not include the match until the important ones since It's so boring to write it)

After the matches, Boruto went up against Mitsuki. Mitsuki made it hard for Boruto to win, so Boruto activated his Jougan to earn the advantage. After the match, the last match was Boruto versus Sarada, they were impressed by Boruto's strength and abilities, especially the Jougan. They were getting ready, before the actual match, Boruto was being cocky and teased Sarada. This made Sarada motivated to beat Boruto.

The match was starting. Sarada charges at Boruto, trying Taijutsu, Boruto was dodging all her punches, he did not want to get hit by Sarada's monster strength, Sarada knowing that he would just dodge her attacks, uses a fire style ninjutsu at Boruto, "Fire style: Fireball Jutsu" she fired a big fireball at his way, then Boruto used a water style jutsu to counter, "Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu" creating mist, Sarada activated her sharingan to locate Boruto, but she didn't see him, after the mist had go away she was still searching for him, then he teleported next to her and holding a kunai near her throat. Sarada was shocked, she didn't notice him teleporting. "How?" Sarada asked "Flying Thunder God" Boruto answered, Sarada was surprised that he learned how to use the technique, then she kicks back, avoiding the kunai and getting out of Boruto's grip. She uses another fire style ninjutsu, "Fire style: Majestic Flame Destroyer" She fired a big flame, Boruto did nothing, he didn't move. Everyone was confused, what was he going to do, then they saw Sarada's ninjutsu being absorb. Boruto activated his Karma Seal. They didn't know that he had that kind of power, Sarada was shocked as she saw her fire being absorbed by Boruto. He teleported next to her, using his sword and kunai, to trap Sarada, she had lost. There's nothing she could do. Their faces were inches away, they could feel each other's breath, Sarada was blushing, Boruto whispering that he won, while letting go. His friends were obviously shocked at him. They never knew how strong Boruto was now.

They spent the day talking with each other, about each other's abilities, personal life etc., until it got dark with everyone going home. Boruto accompanied Sarada to her house, "I did not know that you had those abilities" Sarada said "You have also gotten stronger too" Boruto replied. "Well, this is my stop..." Sarada said walking in front of her house, "Right..." Boruto said looking down, "bye, Boruto-kun" Sarada said while kissing his cheek. Boruto blushed while she walked inside her house. He chuckled and went home.
