Forgive me, O readers, for I have neglected this work for nearly a year.
I humbly waddle my way in today to both thank everyone who has read this story while I was away, and with the news that I have finally returned to Wattpad. After rereading this story, I would like to announce that I aim to edit and continue writing this story; to do so will take a bit of time, but with great optimism, I have a feeling that it will be worth the wait.
A general note I would like to add at this time: Emergence is intended to be a minimally invasive side story. The main character will associate with a great number of the Lookism characters without being sucked into Lookism's official plot points unless the official plot allows a cut in that will not (drastically) alter the outcome of events.
Again, thank you to all who have read the first 10 chapters of Emergence, and may the new updates come swifter than I think.

After some great advice from a few friends — especially Uni236 — I have officially started updating the story! This chapter will be updated as needed and truth be told, with the chaos in my life, I have no idea when I will have everything finished.
