Ugh...why can't it be Friday? :( Honestly...i love working at Starbucks...but i really want to sleep in...is that too much to ask?
I walked into Starbucks! The smell of freshly baked treats and coffee swooping into my nose. I put my uniform and got ready and sat at the counter. The morning was always rush hour...so i braced myself!
Later that day when i was supposed to be off my shift me best friend Jackie asked me if i could cover her late night shift since she had plans with her boyfriend. Jackie was always there for me, so i acepted and stayed. Later that night at around 2:00a.m the door opened and usually no one enters that late so i normally sleep. Who the hell? I stood up and walked to the counter. It was Harry Styles...it couldn't be! Mariah your still half asleep! I smiled and said "Wow...your up late"
"Yeah i know, but this is the only time where i won't be mobed"
"So the fans are that crazy, huh?"
"Yeah, but i love them"
"Hehe...so what would you like to order"
"Some fresh tea with a crumpet please"
"Sure thing"
I moved to the machines and started making his tea.
"So your here alone?"
"Yeah basically..everyone had plans...i'm the loser", i laughed
"Your dedicated to your work which is good"
"Well when you put it that way it almost makes me sound like a normal person"
I handed Harry his tea and his crumpet, but instead of leaving he just stood there...and smiled.
"Harry? Are you okay?"
"Yeah...i can;t believe i am going to say this, but would you like to go on a date maybe?"
Yup...definitly dreaming...but i'll go along
"I would love too", i smiled
"Good...what time do you get off your shift?"
"In about 15 minutes"
"Perfect! I'll wait for you outside!"
"We are going to have a date at 2:30a.m?"
"Why not?" he winked and he left.
I had to pinch myself a few times and i never woke up!
